Dr. Robert William Andrews, MD

My birth of my son will never be forgotten because of Dr. Andrews and, his amazing care. The year 2016. He was on the road getting his daughter situated in Atlanta at the time and he informed me that he would do his very best to be here before I delivered my son. Well my son arrival date at the time was a week out ( August 19th). However God had other plans. As Doctor Andrews was on the road I came into hospital (Sacred Heart in Pensacola) already 5 cm dilated. I was nervous I told him before he left I didn’t feel comfortable having this baby without him. My nurses reached out to him. Thank God he was on the road heading back to Pensacola. About 2 hours away I gained 2 more cm and I grew more and more fearful. My nurses were so sweet. They kept me calm as I wait. I received my epidural and that help buy some time for his arrival. I stayed at 9 cm and they just couldn’t figure out why I stayed at 9cm. Now this is over 2hours past. My savior came rushing in the door. As a tear run down… my face Dr. Andrews stated to me I just got back in town from getting my daughter situated. I’m ready. He asked me to listen to him to avoid any complications. And I did just that. Doctor Andrews said well this is why it’s taking you so long. My water wasn’t broke. So he assisted and broke my water. I then pushed on his commands and stopped on his commands. There was my healthy baby boy 7lbs & 14oz. NO STITCHES! He told me he would be 8lbs. Dr. Andrews is an amazing doctor while under his care he listen and address all of my concerns. Moving forward I told him he would be the only doctor to deliver my children. When I said that he said that it was his last year delivering. I loved his care so much I allowed my son to be assisted by his wife Dr. Carrol Andrews. They are an amazing team thank you so much for all that you do for your patients. Well I’m with child again. Guess who I’m calling to be my ob doctor?!

I’ve been going to the office Dr. Andrews practices at for 12 years. I have loved it-until now. My midwife retired, and I had some previous experience with Dr. Andrews, so I went with him for this pregnancy-big mistake. Everyone saying he tells too many jokes, and they aren’t funny, are SPOT ON. Throughout this pregnancy he has never asked me how I am doing, which is not well. This pregnancy is SO HARD-harder than my twin pregnancy. I am struggling so badly, and when I try to say something he just says it’s all normal, and he truly doesn’t care that these things are greatly affecting my every day life and mental health. He only spends 10 minutes with me every appointment, and he is so impersonal. If you want a doctor who cares DO NOT CHOOSE DR. ANDREWS.

Dr. Andrews is an amazing OB/GYN! He and his staff make you feel very at ease no matter the reason for your visit. He was my GYN and when I found out I was pregnant, was my obvious choose of an OB. He has an amazing bedside manner with a great sense of humor always cracking jokes, but is also very straightforward with any issues or answers to any questions. He doesn't beat around the bush or berate you for asking too many questions. He's happy to help and answers questions thoroughly and is quick to respond with any questions that are called in. He is a very patient and caring doctor who wants you to have the best pregnancy you can have. After delivering our son, he was checking up on us and was very attentive, and was excited to see our baby at our post-partum visit. The staff are very friendly and the appointments have almost zero wait time! If anybody ever needed a recommendation, I would refer them to Dr. Andrews in a heartbeat.

I have been going to him for years! He is awesome. Gentle and very professional. He also has a great sense of humor. A real hoot!

Dr. Andrews does not respond very well to a patient who asks questions and is pro-active in their own health care issues; in fact, he can become quit hostile. The office staff does NOT follow basic medical practices, instead taking short cuts to save time.If you care about the well-being of your baby, DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR.

Dr. Andrews,delivered my last child and also did my hystcomery. I miss having him as my obgyn. Great bed side manner,and has compassion for what he does.

Will never go back.

I was very disappointed in follow-upafter surgery and things were missedin surgery----not a good experience!
