Dr. Barbarite and his wife Mary are wonderful. However, once the merged with Palm Medical everything went south. I have been with the practice for 30 years and unfortunately, they are pushing out the long-term patients for their new business model. The office manager who is beyond miserable stated " I do not get paid enough to deal with all of the patients who are upset, and I know we are losing tons of long termers ". The staff is awful. This is not the same practice it was unfortunately. All good things must come to an end.

This is the absulote WORST doctors office in the area! It was at one time wonderful. However, ever since merging with Palm Medical it's become a ghetto office with a horrible staff. Non-stop rescheduling. Just miserable! Stay away!!!

Dr. Barbarite and his wife Mary did very well for my wife and I for almost 20 years. Then there was a business decision made to sell/partner with Palm Medical. We did not fit into their new business model, so we were kicked to the curb and not even allowed by the office manager to speak with them. She said and I quote "There are too many upset patients and that's what they pay me for to handle them. Yes, we are losing patients but gaining more through our new partnership. Do not take it personal. It is a business decision." How can we not take this personal when our healthcare is a personal decision! Neither Dr. Barbarite nor Mary has called us back. This is very sad and disappointing that they built a practice for patients and now they partnered or sold to a company Palm Medical that builds a business model for investors, so beware you are now collateral in their business model. This office was bought out by a corporation and now nobody knows what is going on. They switch appts without your knowledge or else they pass you off to see nurse practitioners who seem to come and go regularly. If you want this kind of health care be my guest

The visit with Dr. Barbarite was fine. The young woman who tried to take my blood was incompetent. First she pricked me in my left arm ( she never asked me which arm I preferred} and said the vein dripped. Then she tried my right arm and said the needle was in and I moved. She never admitted she made a mistake and became very nasty and said "I will not talk to you".. Then she asked did I hydrate (which I did) looking for excuses for her incompetence. Finally, I asked for someone else to draw my blood and she stormed out. So I had to be pricked 3 times to draw my blood. My left arm is still really in pain. The entire experience was unprecedented and extremely aggravating.

I have been to that office 4 times for physicals, labs, etc. While this person is listed, I’m beginning to think this office is a front. I have NEVER even met the doctor!!!! Who tf doesn’t know or at least (1st office visit) come to meet the patient? The ladies at the front desk “pass the buck” and have horrible memories and communication amongst one another as to what’s going on with who. I’m annoyed at the idea of having to call or go into that office. Who cares that it looks nice. It’s a mess in the inside!

He has been my PCP for many years I contacted his office this morning to ask if they could tell me my blood type Guess what the lady said she couldn’t She then told me to contact any hospital where t had procedures and they should be able to tell me. Sad that my long time Doctor wasn’t able. PS he sent me for a procedure on my Pro-lapse valve Did he not get the full report They don’t have any customer service there and they certainly, after all these years, know a patient blood type

You talk too much and do little else

An office of revolving nurse practitioners. Never get to see the Dr. No return phone calls. Took three weeks for lab results from a technician who knew nothing. Six weeks for paperwork for minor surgery. Nobody in the office knows who you are.

Very unhappy that the medical team is to busy to contact the patient to go over reports or labs directly with patient. Regardless of what they feel is worth a phone call or not. If a patient is requesting to speak to the Doctor not the technician then the Doctor or ARNP should call patient. What ever happen to patient care it's all business to them.
