Dr. Robert Bryan Benafield, MD

Front desk person was smiling and helpful. She was a person you want to greet you and explain everything on your first visit. The nurse was outstanding. She took off my old splint and put my cast on. She answered all my questions and concerns. She was very informative about the cast care from beginning to end. Dr. Benafield went over my x-rays. He was informative and answered all my questions. He gave me option to choose a brace or a cast. Then discuss the pro and cons of both. He said the cast would be more cost effective for myself. I am a person that falls alot. Check out person was kind and listened to what days I need in a month. Overall I would give the Dr and the staff a 4.5!!!

He was very thorough and efficient. He listened and was caring. I had 3 X-rays and received a shot and was out of his office in less than 30 minutes. Most efficient doctor’s visit I have had in a while.

Dr B was prompt, knowledgeable, explained my condition very well. He discussed the treatment plan well. I was confident in his abilities. I will recommend him to others.

I was having pain in my right & left shoulder. We discussed as he explained that both shoulders have normal mobility. He said he could request an MRI but didn’t think that was necessary. I told him my neck has some collapsed vertebrae & with the right arm/shoulder pain as I explained it, may be from the cervical area. He said I should appoint with a spinal Dr. I agree because my husband has had similar pain that runs from his neck to is elbow. He’s always kind and explains things well!

I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment due to icy conditions and was taken to X-ray within 5 minutes of my early arrival. X-ray completed and right into the exam room. Dr B. saw me within 10 minutes. Diagnosed me and gave me a shot. I was out of there in 35 minutes. Outstanding!!!

Dr. Benafield performed surgery on my distal bicep tendon. It was the fourth surgery on my right arm. Dr. Benafield did an outstanding job. Before the surgery, he explained to me exactly what would be done during the procedure, and the time frame for healing and getting back to normal. Post op was not as bad as I had expected. Yes, there was some pain, but all in all nothing major. I am 6 weeks post op and couldn’t be more pleased. I cannot say enough about Dr. Benafield and the job he has done! I will recommend him time and time again. Thank you Dr. Benafield!

Straight and to the point. Massive full thickness rotator cuff tear, repaired, healed and released in 3 1/2 months. Great outcome! A+
