Dr. Robert Jacob Bernardi, MD

Hostile, nasty assistant Stephanie yelled at me on the phone. would not allow me to reschedule an appointment after I missed my appointment due to a death in the family. does not make me want to go back there or recommend that office to anyone. I had seen Dr. Bernardi many years before and also in the last year. I never had any problems with him and he is very polite and was always reasonable to me. But woe to anyone that Stephanie doesn’t like. Now I have to see another doctor to perform the surgery I desperately need. I think Stephanie was also personally offended that I continued to see Dr. Bernardi infrequently To monitor my condition rather than delaying the surgery until I couldn’t take it anymore. she told me that Dr. Bernard he doesn’t want to monitor anybody he just wants to do surgery when you’re ready.

I went to several other Drs who were in and out of the office so fast and after the visits had me scared to death that i would be in this pain the rest of my life. Dr Bernardi sat down and was in the room with me for over an hour going over every little thing and answered every question I had. For the first time I felt confident in a Dr and he made me feel much better about having the surgery. 5 Years later, feeling amazing!!! I recommend everyone I know to go to him!!!

The most down to earth Dr I have ever talked to. Explained everything to me about the pain I’m having. Did a very good explanation of my health problem. Explained the surgery he was going to do to make the back pain,leg pain go away. Will update after surgery.

Been almost 1 year since surgery, no back or leg pain . Had problems with back since army 47 years ago. Dr Bernardi great bedside manner. He are his assistant very complete explanation of what was going happened and the what they did. Side benefit since I am walking straight knees feel much better also. Walking more enjoying life.

Outstanding Dr. I will never allow anyone to do spinal surgery on me but Dr. Bernardi. Told me about the procedure and explained how he would perform the surgery. Outstanding bedside manner and great sense of humor. There is not enough words to explain how superior he is!!!

Dr. Bernardi has been my neurosurgeon for 20 years treating me for a congenital back disorder. He has performed 2 back surgeries both of which were very successful in relieving severe pain and impairment. He is prompt for appointments, very thorough, and is never in a rush to shuttle you out the door. You have his full attention and he listens to you. His bedside manor is top notch and he truly cares about helping his patients live a better life.

Dr. Bernardi is an outstanding surgeon! He has done two back surgeries on me in 8 years. Both of them not related to the other. His bed side manner is superb! You feel at home in his care and you are not rushed during your visit. I recommend the surgeon to everyone! His skills are above and beyond the rest .
