Dr. Robert Stuart Bridge

I recently saw this physician about a problem with a cyst in my sinus. He was pleasant but ineffective in solving my problem. The thing that irritated me the most, however, was the fact that without my knowledge or approval, he brought a young man to my office visit who was in training. When I made my appointment, it was my expectation that I would see a specialist only. My appointment was to see an ear, nose and throat specialist and not to spend the time with a trainee. This trainee spent almost as much time viewing my sinus as did Dr. Bridge. After the trainee would view my sinus (which he did more than once), Bridge would confer with this trainee. In fact, at one point, Bridge briefly left the office and told the trainee to view my sinus while he stepped out. Had I wanted to see a trainee, I would have made different arrangements. My insurance was billed at the rate for a specialist. It seems only common courtesy to ask the patient's prior permission to bring in a trainee or at… the very least to notify the patient before springing a trainee on a patient.

WORST Dr's EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! If you are looking to be treated with the utmost dismissive disrespect, Dr. Robert Bridge is who we had to experience. My 17 yr old daughter had her tonsils removed by Dr. Robert Bridge and we were not even remotely prepared for the recovery. Neither Dr. Bridge or his staff educated us on what to do during recovery other than telling her to drink water. They handed us numerous papers when they discharged her but none of them gave us the advise we received at the Emergency Room later that week. We ended up in the emergency room during her first week of recovery and the medical staff in the ER were shocked at what little information we were given to have as smooth a recovery as possible. I'm sure the papers that Deer Valley Surgical Center handed us covered them for liability (just my opinion) but they are the professionals and having never been thru this before we counted on them for their expertise. We went back to see Dr. Bridge 4… weeks after surgery, because my daughter was still experiencing pain. He said he "didn't know what to tell us". In his 30 years he had never seen this after 4 weeks. ??? I said if you haven't seen this in 30 years doesn't that mean this isn't normal? He said "yes" and just looked and us and told us again that he "didn't know what to tell us." He actually looked at me with a completely blank stare and said that to me at least 4 times. He said maybe there was some nerve damage but that would mean seeing a Neurologist. It was very apparent he did not care about this patient and he is a horrible excuse for a Dr. Dr. Bridge is the most dismissive, uncaring Dr. I have ever been to. Our experience was HORRIBLE. I would never recommend Dr. Bridge. Trust me, find another Dr.! If I could rate him with a ZERO I would but I had to at least pick 1 Star. He doesn't even deserve that.

My original office visit was rather short. He and I came to the conclusion that surgery was my best option. Day of surgery I was the first patient and he showed up late 1.5 hours. I was a nervous wreck by then from anticipation. All followup appointments were with his nurse. When I asked for him to fill out an excuse for work he refused and walked out the door. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone

Wait time was very shirt..Dr explained everything well. I have seen many Doctors and he is the only one that has helped with my problem. Highly recommend.
