Dr. Robert Burakoff

Dr.B is the best. He truly cares about his patients and their families and the importance of their health to quality of life. And, he knows his stuff. I mean, he literally co-wrote the textbook used in most medical schools My entire family has been going to him for years for care and early detection, as IBD runs in our family. He gives us the best care, has a great sense of humor, and is simply the best there is! Top of his field. I feel such deep gratitude for this man.

Was extremely cold + dismissive during the short experience I had with him. Never in a million years did I expect this from a Cornell professional. Completely changed my outlook on the hospital. Extremely upsetting and disappointing. Speechless. I was so upset after my experience.

I waited months to see this man. Only to be to be rushed and made to feel like I don't matter to him. I'm just starving to death but I'll wait while you guys forget to schedule my test. So I am still left to waste away. I know why people just give up.

I've seen Dr. Burakoff a couple of times for a recent chronic disease diagnosis. He's obviously intelligent and experienced, but he's always made my wife and I feel like we were wasting his time with our questions.We have to book appointments months in advance, make a long commute into Boston to see him, and wait a long time in the waiting room, and still he gets shifty and impatient after ten minutes.He actually told us, "Look, I've been keeping the next patient waiting for an hour, I really need to go.."So? I've been waiting an hour too! I have questions, and the last time I checked, I'm paying for this time!If you don't have anything serious and have all the time in the world, by all means see this guy. But don't expect professionalism.
