Dr. Byrne is the very best

Successful surgery and excellent care. Great office staff. Everyone is responsive and caring.

I have had several Lithrotripsy surgeries for my kidney stones.. No Dr has ever crushed the stones into sand like Dr Byrne's.. He has an excellent personality and bedside manor.. He gets to the bottom of the problem and takes care of things as soon as possible.. He is an excellent Dr for Urology and I wouldn't have any other Dr for this care.. I highly recommend Dr Byrne and his Staff are excellent.. I live around an hour away and he is well worth the drive..

I feel I owe Dr. Byrne so much because of his care and expertise! Six years ago, he found I had an aggressive form of prostate cancer. After evaluating various courses of action, I asked Dr. Byrne to surgically remove the prostate. His success has provided me with six years of being cancer-free and with no negative side effects. Life is good, and Dr. Byrne is a significant reason for my happiness.

Dr. Byrne recently performed surgery on me for a difficult-to-diagnose (extremely complicated) urinary condition. The 3-4 hours that I used to spend in the bathroom each day are no more. I'm free and now enjoy tremendous functionality and moreover, comfort. Being in the hcare industry and suffering from a chronic illness that spans many body-parts, I cannot be more emphatic about Dr. Byrne's diagnostic, surgical and bedside skills. He is a pro, who genuinely cares about his patients' quality of life.

Came highly recommended and lived up to reputation to treat my prostate cancer. Thoughtful, talented and honest doctor. Lots of information about my condition and procedures needed to get me well again. Surgery followed by radiation and I am 5 years cancer free. Great staff. Everyone I dealt with has been first rate.

While I believe that Dr. Byrne is a good surgeon, you're treated like cattle in his office.

Full disclosure: Most of my complaints are not necessarily related to the quality of the actual medical treatment, but rather the practice in general. First of all, patients are instructed to arrive 20 minutes prior to the appointment time, and in 6 visits to this practice my wait time has never been less than 45 minutes from the scheduled appointment time to be called from the waiting room (meaning that I've waited at least 1 hour to move to an exam room). Second, despite the fact that there seems to be at least 10 office members chatting and milling about, it is a 50/50 proposition to reach a human being on the phone, and it's virtually impossible after about 3pm. Messages take days to be returned, and on one occasion a staff member called 4 days later to discuss a medication that I hadn't been prescribed. The final straw was waiting nearly two hours for a follow-up to a CT scan only to discover that no one had bothered to read the CT yet. If you have other urology options, try them… first.

Very pleased. He is not only a good listener, but communicates issues extremely well. Couldn't be more pleased with him.
