I called this office and was able to walk in for an appointment. I was very sick and needed my Husbands help the fill out the paperwork. The office is in a home where they live. I was happy to have a reasonable copay and what it mistakenly took as good medical care. The place was filthy. The wait was over 30 minutes. It's obvious that children have the run of the house when the practice is not open. They refused to fill a prescription for me after looking up what medicines I took on the DPS Big Brother file. "I need to find other care is what I think she said" Just as well. I needed a shower after I left there. Really disappointed with the follow up care that was promised to me the day of original appointment. Too bad, it would have been nice to have a Dr in the neighborhood

I just had my first visit with Dr Capps. 10 AM on a Sunday! I was a walk-in! No waiting! Wow! He talked with me thoroughly about my current problem and also my rather extensive history of a different previously existing, more severe condition. I felt that he listened well & fully comprehended my concerns about the current situation, as well as previous issues. He explained very thoroughly his assessment of current problem and made several recommendations for treatment. He ordered lab work, one test that he recommended and one that I requested. The membership plan is a great deal for someone like me, with no insurance, but I have a feeling it might be good even for someone with insurance because the doctor & patient decide on what's appropriate treatment, not the insurance company's bottom line.
