Dr. Robert James Comeau, MD

In 2013 Dr. Robert J. Comeau MD, literally, rushed through a Pap, procedure within a few minutes tops! Managed to squeeze a pair of inappropriate questioning about my infrequent relations and SLAPPED ME WITH A $658 BILL! To top it off, his staff failed to mention that my insurance had not covered their fees. Fine! one might play devil's advocate and suggest that he's a doctor and that, in this country, he can charge whatever he pleases, without pre-notice of fees but be that as it may, there should still be results provided, when such medical procedures are performed. I didn't spread my legs, and endure him, for Giggles! After receiving my bill, I naturally called to inquire as to why I was not told that my insurance had not covered the visit and to ask what the results of my pap were. The lady, on the the other end, could not answer my questions, placed me on hold, and then hung up. In fact, every time the bill would come in, I would call and ask the same questions and again no… one could give me an answer nor my results. (FYI I had an infection that had to be treated at the UMC, since they never got back to me) Naturally, I thought they had negligently lost my results And when the bill stopped coming, I figured that was their Embarrassing way of mending their gross negligence BUT NO! instead, 3 years later doctor Comeau's office SUED ME! For over $2,000.00+! And still, I have no results! How is this even legal?!

His staff are dishonest and they tell you lie for your coverage of insurance and unfortunately Dr.comeau is dihonest as well and he wants just charge you for nothing. Be careful for your bill due to charging you more or unfair. Their instruments are old and out of date and they are only thinking how to charge you!

Recommended to me by a friend after complaining about not being able to find an OB/GYN I like...Dr Comeau is caring, knowledgable, informative and thorough..He spends plenty of time with me and answers all my questions....Nice staff as well...

My daughter was in there today for a pregnancy visit. You did not listen for the baby's heart beat, you did NOT listen to my daughter. You told her last visit she was 8 wks along. Now you tell her again she is just 8 wks along??? She just called me very upset and concerned. Yes, she does not have medical insurance at this time, but do not treat her like a second class citizen. Listen to your patiences, their concerns and questions, instead of talking. She will not be back.

He really cares and he is very competent.

I have known Dr Comeau for over 15 years. His devotion to women's health is unparalleled. He is always excited to learn new and forward thinking approaches to health issues. I have recommended him to over 30 friends and coworkers. Every one of them has been enchanted with his caring attitude and fine medical attention. I am a cancer survivor thanks to him. I have friends that drive all the way across town because they would never consider putting their health in anyone else's hands. I flew in from another state to see him when my husbands job forced us to relocate. I am back and would never even consider any other OB/GYN until this sweet caring man retires. He is one of only 3 physicians I can wholeheartedly recommend in Las Vegas. Lola

Dr, Comeau is one of the best doctors in Las Vegas, he is very thorough, honest, up front and concerned and has a great staff that is accomodating to all patients.
