Dr. Robert Chester Corlett JR., MD

I was hesitant to see him, but it's nearly impossible to get an appointment in SB with a female. I needed an IUD removed (first time), and decided to see him based on his ratings. Unfortunately I came home in tears. He had no bedside manner what so ever. Didn't explain what he was doing unless I asked. Very vague about what happens after the removal.

Excellent doctor with a great bedside manner, who is easy to talk to and easy to understand his answers. He is so knowledgeable and so kind and gentle that I recommend him as excellent.

He helped me through Interstitial Cystitis, diagnosing me when no one else had... he helped me to be comfortable. Both of my two beautiful childeren were birthed wtih him at Goleta Valley. It was hard but great.

I would not recommend this doctor, I went to him 13 years ago, when my doctor was out of town, and I started to bleed at the beginning of my 2 trimester. He, told me that bleeding is a sign of something wrong with the baby, and strongly urged me to abort the baby. He was not happy that I refused his advice, and said that I would probably naturally abort or that there would be some defect with my baby. He had the worst bed side manner, and his exam was rough, and uncaring. I'm happy to say that my son, was born perfectly healthy, and is a super smart handsome boy. It was a horrible experience that still haunts me to this day!

I love Dr. Corlett! He is very smart, takes the time to listen to his patients and answer questions. Great follow up. Great staff! Appointments are almost always timely. Would recommend to anyone!

He is an amazing doctor that truely cares about all his patients! The office staff is also very friendly.

I had to visit Dr. Corlett regarding an unfortunate circumstance, but he and his team put me at ease and helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. His office and its personnel are wonderful. I will gladly be a patient for life!
