Great Doctor. Wish I could find out where he is working at now since he left family medical.

I've lost him bc I left out of town and came back early due to extreme neck spasms from my protrusions I was rudely and without warning, told he was no longer there and told to go find him if I'd like to. Very nasty staff here at Family medical. I need to find Dr cox ASAP bc I love him as a Dr

Earlier this year I went to piedmont henry for abdominal pain. I had been told a few months earlier that my gallbladder was contracted. Unfortunately I got Dr. Cox. While I understand there is nothing that can be done right then and there in the ER for your gallbladder, I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Cox had the nerve to tell me that he would not be doing anything to ease my pain that evening and that I needed to go to a general surgeon, which I understand is normal procedure. But, when I told him that I did not have the money to go to the doctor at the moment, HE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME THAT MAYBE I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SAVE MY MONEY. I broke down in tears in the hospital room, as I am on a very tight budget. My mom tore Dr. Cox a new one. If you go to piedmont henry and he is your doctor, definitely refuse and see someone else!

Dr. Cox was the ER physician at Henry County the day I went in for a terrible sinus infection. The shot that was prescribed by him the date of my ER visit was given to me by an angry nurse. It instantly shot a pain throughout my back which led to me being stuck on the floor and down in my back for a week. I made payments of $10 a month the first three months and received a letter stating my case was being turned over to collections and when I called to set up payment arrangements, they advised me the minimum payment they could accept was $120, but my balance was only $86. They would not work with me on payments and wanted their money ASAP. I would not ever recommend this doctor to anyone due to his bedside manner and customer service.

Waited as usual for a doctor in the emergency room of henry medical-finnally arrived to say I was diagnosed with COPD a year ago when I was at henry medical in 2010, but unfortunately this doctor didn't advise me of having COPD then in 2010-waited until this year 2011 to tell me I have COPD-then said he doesn't know why I wasn't told of his diagnoses then(2010). Will not return to henry medical nor would I go to this doctors office ever.
