Dr. Robert Cristel, MD

Dr. Robert Cristel specializes in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery with additional expertise in plastic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Medicine. Dr. Cristel furthered his training with a fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine, providing him with advanced surgical expertise in both specialties.

Dr. Cristel practices at multiple Sound Health Services locations throughout the St. Louis area, including Chesterfield, O'Fallon, and Saint Louis. He treats conditions such as enlarged turbinates, nasal polyps, and basal cell skin cancer. His surgical expertise includes radio frequency volume reduction for the nose, turbinate surgery, and Z-plasty procedures to help patients with breathing difficulties and facial reconstruction needs.
