Dr. Robert Wendell Davis, MD

Dr. Davis has been my doctor since I was 16 years old in 1980. My husband and I owe him so much after 33+ years of marriage. He's delivered two of my three children. I was one of his first teenage patients in the early 80's. My husband and I never felt judged. He's so knowledgeable, caring and considerate. It was a highlight to have him care for my daughter and her first baby. As I'm now moving into a different stage of life with different problems I appreciate that he discusses the solutions and provides me with options. I always enjoy my annual visits and getting to compare notes on how his and my kids are doing. I'm worried what I'll do when he decides to retire. He's played such an important role in my family's life and health.

My mother had all six of her kids with him and he actually saved my brothers life because of his knowledge and smart, quick decision making. My mom couldnt've been happier with him. My sister had all four of hers with him and couldn't be happier. My husband and I are about to have our second with him. My first one was born at 29 weeks due to Pre-eclampsia. Dr Davis could have sent me home on bed rest but decided to put me in the hospital to get a full picture of what was wrong. The pre-eclampsia was so bad my daughter and I could have easily died if we were sent home on bed rest. By the grace of God and the skills of Dr. Davis, our little girl pulled through as healthy as can be. She was 2 lbs 4 ounces at birth and went home after a 2 month NICU stay. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Davis and his nurse. I don't think I could trust anyone else and I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr.Davis has taken great care of me. He has always been pleasant. I trust him to take care of my ob needs.

I am a high risk patient of Doctor Davis'. This is my second baby with him, and the first time it didn't really matter that he was cold, quick, uncaring and worried about getting out of the office on time more than about his patients- because we had the perfect pregnancy. His nurse, she is fabulous. She answers any questions I have and spends as much time talking with my husband and I as we need. She is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Doctor Davis spends as little time with us as possible. He answers questions poorly, makes us feel like he doesn't genuinely have any care for us. Luckily, we are transferring away from him in a couple weeks. He pushed us to do an amnio despite our wishes and beliefs against it- HARD. It was completely unprofessional. We were told not to get an amnio by our new doctor, because of the risks with a heart baby and having that procedure done.Dr. Davis made us feel like we were getting the very least quality care we could possibly get. I would not… recommend him to anyone. The clinic in general, is wonderful.

His bedside manner stinks hes rude-doesnt care and basically makes you feel like a complete fool..dr west rocks...

my sister and I have been patients of Dr. Davis for 13 years and through four births. He has always been very caring, patient, and professional with us. I find comfort in his years of experience and good old fashioned honest approach to OBGYN.
