As a new patient, I am very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and organization of staff. Dr. Edelman is an outstanding physician- extremely smart and thorough, provides explanation when needed, and is empathetic with his patients. Having been to ophthalmologists for years, he is by far in the class of one of the very best. I highly recommend Coastal Eye Institute and Dr. Edelman at Sun City Center.

Dr Edelman explains everything and takes his time with you. He even had a test done twice to reaffirm size of my eyes for cataract surgery. He takes no chances. Wish all my doctors were as caring as he is. No wonder he has high ratings. He and his staff are exceptional!

Dr. Edelman has performed cataract surgery on both eyes with excellent results.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes, smooth recovery and no glasses needed after surgery. I'm very satisfied with his work.

rude, never looked at me unless examining my eyes. Answered no questions and told me nothing beyond the diagnosis. Made me accept glasses that I couldn't use, rude, arrogant

I had many ieye issues and dr Edelman addressed each one. He was very thorough in reviewing tests and explaining them to me. He's conservative in his approach which I appreciate. He doesn't have alone size fits all approach.
