Dr. Jennifer Marie Burns, MD

I moved from across the state last Feb, and made an appointment to see Dr Burns after 8 week wait. Although I did not need refills at that time, I let her know that I have been taking Gabapenten for a couple of years. Asked If I could call for refills when needed. She stated “Yes, but also talk to PCP as appointments are not readily available”. As I am close to running out,I called med nurse named Stephanie for refill. She told me to make an appointment. Dr Burns next appt is 1 month from now and Krystal 3 weeks. Stephanie could not have cared less that I needed medicine, and we are not talking about an opioid. Dr Burns is a great doctor, but is of no use if you cannot get in for app’t. Stephanie has the compassion and empathy of a slug.

Like some that have posted I had a neck problem for about 3months; it hurt a lot but I thought it was a pinched nerve. On a whim I went to see dr burns; upon review of my X-ray she immediately made room for me to have an MRI(on site) That next day we learned my c6 was heriated and pressing on the spinal cord. If you have an actual injure they move heaven and earth to help. My surgery was quick and painless.

I waited 2 months for the appointment. I saw Dr. Burns because a neck problem was getting worse and I wanted to know what could be done to keep it from becoming worse and chronic. Dr. Jennifer Burns told me I was wasting her time because my problem was not as serious as other patients in the waiting room.

Excellent doctor who takes the time to explain diagnosis and proposed treatment

She is not a good doctor as she uses flimsy excuses to refuse treatment.

Dr. Burns is not only wonderful on a personal level, she understands how you're feeling and does whatever she can to help.

Dr. Burns has treated my back pain many times when I have had flares. She has a great bedside manor and is very caring. She went out of her way and stayed late during the holidays just to make sure I would be seen and treated so I could enjoy the holidays and not be in pain.

This doctor was "spot on" in my treatment and better yet was her PA, Kim.Thank you both so much for the wonderful treatment and care you gave me. I know we will be seeing each other in the future!

I just appreciate how your injections do not hurt and how much they helped my pain. You are thorough and answer all my questions. I would recommend you to anyone needing a fresh look.

Dr. Burns came highly recommended to me. And for whatever reason (personal problems,financial problems, etc.), she should not have come into work the day I saw her. She was beyond being unprofessional. It was such a horrific experience (not physically, but emotionally and mentally) I put in a written complaint to the insurance company about her. I discovered I was not the only one. I think its time for her to think of a career change.
