Dr. Robert Edward Evard, MD

I so appreciate seeing Dr. Evard. You can tell he has a lot of experience. He cares, is a good listener and encourages you to make wise choices about your health. I am so glad he is our doctor!

I have visited Dr Evard on two seperate occasion s that required a follow up phone call. I did not receive a phone call on either occasion. I am very surprised that I did not receive these follow up calls due to the seriousness of my visit. I am switching Doctors. Staff treated me as if this was no big deal. Terrible

When I look for a physician, I look for someone with intelligence and one who takes time to listen and look you in the eye when you speak. While Dr Evard may be board certified, he sure must have failed his Doctor and Patient Relationship classes at IU. I am a practicing surgeon in Indianapolis and took my son to see him for some issues and as a second opinion. Dr Evard want to put a college kid on Xanax, I requested for lab work to be done to check for hormonal issues. He did not order it. We ended up leaving and I was very upset by his entire demeanor. Family physicians are typically the doctors that are the caring hold-your-hand type of doctors. This is NOT the case with Evard. He has very little personality with patients. I ended up ordering the lab work and sending my son to an endocrinologist. Just as I thought it was hormonal. I tell everyone I know in Carmel to stay away from that office. And I heard he was the director of something at Clarian North Medical Center; what a… mistake that is!

I have been a paient of Dr. Evard's since 1979, He has always been easy to work with and accurate with a diagnosis. My children amd grandchildren find him to be good with Them. He is an excellent doctor.

I should have left this review years ago.Bob Evard mis diagonosed my wife's cancer over a period of almost 2 years allowing her cancer to spread through her bones. he actually NEVER diagnosed the cancer as his colleague did while Bob was on vacation before Christmas that year. Bob never order3ed up the correct blood work (on a HMO at the time and he did not want to cut into his profits...presumably)...we NEVER heard from this quack again. he never called to see how we were, nothing. Infact back in the days when he was screwing up our lives (pre diagonosis) he told my wife was depressed (no crap) and the pain wshe was feeling was "all in her head"...my wife had no strength to pick up our 2 daughters (ages 2 & 3 at the time), which again, he said the inability of doing so " was all in her head".naturally people change, however i would never send Bob Evard a referral...i am certain others were and are satisfied with him...not me.

He lets me know if my question is within his knowledge. His manner is very pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone.
