Dr. Robert Norman Fish, MD

I recently had Dr. Fish as my anesthesiologist for an outpatient procedure that was already very scary for me. I was extremely concerned about my response to general anesthesia as I had bad experiences with it in the past which landed me in the hospital vomiting for days after 2 prior outpatient surgeries. I had spoken with my surgeon and opted to use twilight for this procedure because of my fears about my reaction to general anesthesia in the past. When it was time for the surgery to take place, Dr. Fish came in and explained his concerns about using twilight for the procedure I was having done and recommended general instead. He talked to me about his reasoning and he also listened to and acknowledged my fears. He convinced me that he would be able to give me general without making me sick. I trusted him and it worked! I had no vomiting after surgery. I was impressed! I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone, and if I need additional surgeries, I definitely hope I can… have him again!
