Dr. Robert Scott Fishel, MD

I have seen many great doctors over the decades. But if I had to single out one as being the very best, it's Dr. Robert Fishel. I originally went to him for a second opinion for an evaluation to have a Pacemaker implanted, as I was told my heartbeat was too slow. I've always been asymptomatic, or so I thought until Dr. Fishel took the time to explain things to me. He is easy to talk to and has an excellent bedside manner. He is personable; he cares and always makes me feel like I am the only patient he has to attend to. He shows genuine interest, and I have never felt rushed when seen by him. The office staff are just as impressive. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. You can genuinely tell everyone there is passionate about their responsibilities. I wouldn't change this Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology practice for anything, highly recommended! Furthermore, his operating room team was sensational. Dr. Fishel is the best doctor I have seen in 20 years. I am delighted that… I selected Dr. Fishel to conduct my surgery. He had me spend the night in the hospital just to make sure that the device was working and that there were no problems from the surgery. My fatigue and lightheadedness have improved. It has been six weeks since my surgery, and my wife tells me I fall asleep less when watching TV, and I am back to doing all the things I love, like riding my bike and taking long walks. Thank you, Dr. Fishel!

Dr. Fishel is excellent. He has not only diagnosed my daughter with POTS, but saved her from an unnecessary surgery. His office staff is great, especially Michael. He is the most caring and calm person. He takes the time to talk to you and listen to your concerns. He is awesome, thank you Michael, you are appreciated so much.

I am a cardiologist and know people who have had procedures with him. Everyone has done poorly. He is incredibly rude and arrogant over the phone. He is all about making money off humans.

I was referred by a cardiologist in Fort Myers since I had aFib and had subpar treatment with electrophysiologist in Fort Myers. My health was not good including a TIA and went to Dr. Fishel who performed cardiac ablation 9 months ago. I am now 100% cured ( his words) and off antiarrythmic and bloodthinner meds. He saved my life!!!

My experience with Afib was a scary one as I was faced with the unknown-- Dr Fishal and staff put me at ease all the way through the procedure- So if you have Afib I can strongly recommend this group to get your heartbeat back to normal!!

Excellent service - made eye contact frequently and expressed himself clearly. Referred me to another cardiologist who could better serve my health problems.

dr. has a great reputation with folks with arrhythmias but had to wait over 2 hours (!) to see him and when I finally was seen he gave me about 5 minutes of him time, had his eye on tv screen with stock market reports on it and gave me a script and a follow up appt.
