Dr. Robert E Fogel, MD

Dr. Fogel has been my primary care physician for 20 years now, and I have always been very happy with his care. I switched over to him after he gave me my physical, when I joined the fire department.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Fogel for many years. I always found him to be supportive and helpful. I've also seen Jennifer, she takes her time, asks questions and listens to my concerns. I always leave feeling she has listened and heard me and treated my ailment accordingly. i have confidence in both Jennifer and Dr. Fogel. The staff has always treated me with respect. I'm thankful to have them treat me and my husband.

I have been a patient of Dr Fogel for about 25 years. He always makes me feel comfortable during my time in the office. Dr Fogel does not rush you and listens and responds to all your concerns. The office personnel and medical assistants are friendly and caring.

I expected better treatment from an office that I have been at for a long time. I was treated very rudely by Jennifer. When I tried to explain my husbands issue. She asked me if I had a medical degree. She was rude and lacked any listening skills. The truth is he has been going there for a long time with the same issue? Maybe I should be asking her that. There are many bad reviews here for a reason. I won’t be sending anyone to them anymore.

In the many years that I been a patient of Dr. Fogel's, I will no longer see this doctor due to the abuse I get from his staff. The receptionists are extremely unprofessional and are very rude when answering the phone and answering questions you have concerning anything related to your visit. I’ve had 3 bad experiences in the span of 2 years and I’m disgusted with how they handle themselves. They are very unorganized and shuffle around looking for your paperwork every time you visit and then give you an attitude when they can’t find your chart or billing information. They expect you to know what was written up specifically by the doctor and for you to have the documents handy. I didn’t realize you have to show up to a doctors office with your complete patient history write up. Every bad experience I’ve had at this office was with one specific Individual that works behind the desk. Jen is very nasty and does not hold back from being vocal with you. She is very aggressive under… pressure and will make any situation out to be your fault because she is unorganized. Jen lacks basic patient service skills. In one situation back in 2018 I was late to Dr. Fogels office by 15 min due to traffic and I gave them a call ahead to let them know I will be running late. When I was brought in to be seen by Dr. Fogel, Jen came into the room and said “If you’re going to be late then don’t bother showing up” I was so blown away from what she said. I couldn’t believe the attitude on this girl. I let Dr. Fogel know what she said and he told me he will talk to her. As of today I’m done being the victim at this office. When being under the care of a doctor, every doctor visit should be a pleasant one. Jen started in with me again today when asking her a question about my billing and she flat out told me “ Don’t start with me today”. I’m disgusted with how I’m being treated at this office and I will no longer take the abuse. I have a heart condition and suffer from Arrhythmias. This individual has made me have close encounters with going into Afib in the office from being aggressive with me. My heart rate and blood pressure was so high today when leaving that I almost fainted outside their office. I had to quickly get in my car to take my medication. This is NOT the way any patient or anyone should be treated when entering a professional establishment. Dr. Fogels office is a part of Northwell Health. I expect to be treated fairly and with respect. Northwell Health and human resources need to investigate into this matter and they also need to re evaluate their hiring process. I’m not sure if there is a Union here but this person should NOT be working in the healthcare field. Her behavior is unacceptable and this individual if up to me should be terminated. If you are reading these reviews and considering going to this doctor I would BEWARE. I do not recommend Dr. Fogels office at all.

I do not know where this clown got his degree but he's an absolute moron. Any Doctor Who Cannot diagnose a simple rash which turned out to be a nervous rash, shouldn't be practicing medicine. In addition his staff is very rude very unprofessional and should be reported to HIPAA for so many breeches it's ridiculous. The nurses/ PA's, are very caddy as I heard them discussing patients behind their backs after they leave the office. Do yourself a favor go elsewhere for real Medical Care this guy's an idiot!

Unknowledgeable, ignorant, discriminatory.

While I really like the PA, Jenn, some of the Staff is very rude an unprofessional. It took over a week to get a prescription sorted out. I called the office 3 times and the Pharmacy made several calls. The issue was it needed to be called in a certain way in order to be covered by my insurance. Not sure who the staff member was but she was TOTALLY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Patients should NOT be treated like that!!
