Dr. Robert Dale Garrison, MD

If this is the same Dr. Garrison at Denton Texas Health E.R. I would like to thank him for his caring bedside manner and he is such an awesome Doctor. I appreciate him and hope to always be treated by him. If I could have him as my PCP I would.

Excellent ER doctor. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Took his time in answering my questions. I felt well cared for.

I was treated by Dr. Garrison at Denton Presbyterian ER. He was very dismissive from the beginning. The first thing he said to me was, "I'm confused. What are you wanting me to do?" After blood work came back with critically low potassium he gave me IV potassium. After an hour my levels were no where close to normal. He literally asked me if I want another round or want to be admitted. I chose to be admitted so I could actually have a dr who cared. Turned out I had a serious blood infection and was borderline septic. Good thing I chose to be admitted since Dr. Garrison didn't seem to have a clue or care.

He was rude when my grand baby was taken to ER and said he was fine. The baby had a temp for 2 days. He had started vomiting non stop, was dehydrated, and was lethargic falling asleep as he vomited. He hadn’t wet his diaper all morning. Pediatrician said go to ER. This doctor seemingly didn’t care.

This Dr just goes off a checklist without truly trying to find out what is wrong with his patient. If he truly cared about his patients he'd go off more than the standard checklist. Look for abnormalities, maybe test for rare or uncommon causes. He's going to really injure someone someday, or leave a very sick patient unproperly treated. He seems far more interested in rushing in and out than advocating for patient care... Really sad...

I went to the emergency room and Dr. Garrison was my physician. I was experiencing heavy vaginal bleeding while pregnant and he told me there was "no point" in him trying to find out why. I later found out that my bleeding was caused by an ectopic pregnancy that nearly caused me to hemorrhage. A single transvaginal ultrasound would have revealed this, but he refused to perform one.
