Dr. Robert Cary Gordon, DO

Dr Gordon did a great C-section on me with my first pregnancy even though I thought Dr Tung would be the one delivering me but he did, I didn’t have no problem after my C-section or nothing, I’m currently pregnant right now every time I come to St’Mary medical center with an complaint it’s like he doesn’t care he could be at the hospital he never comes to the ob to see what’s really wrong with me he just order all these stupid tests and tells them to send me home mind you I’m a African American suffer more through pregnancy then any other race and I’m pretty much sure he knows that, as an ob the lease he could do is show that he actually care for somebody that’s been an a ob for 20 plus year smh.

Dr. Gordon delivered my children over 20 years ago and I still see him for my yearly checkups. He is very easy going and you can discuss anything with him.

Said he would call back in 2 days with my results cuz he thought I had an infection but never called back its being more than a week's. I keep calling but they won't call back.

After a year of having "female issues" and being seen by a few different doctors Dr. Gordon took time to sit in my patient room. During our consult (without holding notes in his hand) he recited what I had been through over the past year and took note as I added additional information. We discussed and are currently executing a plan to fix the underlying issue. Not only has Dr. Gordons' nurse, Leigh Ellen, reached out to me, but Dr. Gordon has also called to re-review any results after her call. I will not be switching doctors anytime soon.

After years with one ob/gyn I had to switch bc of insurance. I am sorry this was the choice I made. I had no US after my 5 month of pregnancy. Had a follow up been done prior to being induced it would have been evident that the umbilical cord was around my babies neck and he was faced anterior. I suffered with horrible back labor for over 24 hours and ended up with atypical postpartum pre eclampsia. They gave me two epidurals an injected me with 3 boluses of pain med prior to deciding to take me in for a c section for failure to dilate further 6 hours after that. Postpartum my liver and kidneys were not functioning properly. Probably due to all of the toxic meds. I had incisional pain, weakness and back pain and felt dismissed when I verbalized my concerns. I don't think this doctor would know my name had it not been on my chart each visit even after a year. I fell like I was a pay check to this dr and office. I plan on going back to my previous OB/GYN even if it means paying out… of pocket. It will be worth having someone that gives individualized care and actually cares about his patients. This Dr is also difficult to get a hold of and frequently out of town.

Dr. Gordon delivered all four of my children and I can't say enough good about him. The personal level of care that he provided is far beyond most doctors. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gordon for both his knowledge and level of care.
