Dr. Robert Norman Gould, MD

Very unprofessional. Spent less then 5 minutes talking with us and then only talked about one problem area. The wait time for us was 90 minutes, others had been waiting for over 2 hours. His treatment plan was a joke. Wanted me to research whether it was safe or not for my husband to receive injections in his knees. The nurse was rude and unpleasant. If you are looking for a quality doctor that wants to help his patients then look else where. Dr. Gould was more worried about getting to his car to leave then to treat his patients. Time for him to retire

I just feel that the rating I read previous, was completely inaccuate. I was referred to Dr. Gould by my primary for recommendation for a full hip replacement. I was concidered young for the procedure, 41, but had broken my growth plate as a young teen which caused a total breakdaown of my cartilage and caused my great pain when walking. I was fortunate enough to have the surgury at Palomar Hospital (Exceptional place) I followed every bit of the advice he gave me for a quick recovery and here it is a year later and I am pain free. I found him to be very knowlegable and clear about what to expect. At first he seemed a bit cold, but after a few visits I warmed up to his humor and found him to be quite friendly. His staff was very friendly and knowledgable as well. They had a relaxed atmosphere, but did their job well. I preferred this to the regular could, uncaring reception I have recieved in other offices. I am sorry if the prior post was disatisfied, be the best surgeons… are busy and while they tryto be accomidating, it sometimes may take a few days to be seen. Yes, x-rays were taken a few blocks away at a top of the line, state of the art facility that is a shared access with Palomar and all the other offices in the area; fast and efficient at sharing information. I had a great experience with Dr. Gould and hope you will to.
