Lost my pills and took someone else’s was kicked out after being on them 6 years with no problems at all would not even let me explain the situation. Now I’m suffering so much I don’t even want to be alive like this and they know The pain I’m in won’t even return a phone call as long as your paying them there good matter of fact paid for a year they won’t refund me the worst part is I have never had a dirty urine in 7 years they know how much pain I’m in life is now a burden all because of taking 1 pain pill when I lost mine

I have been a patient of Dr. Hanson for many years, back when he was at a different office. When I heard he opened his own practice specifically to spend the time that he needs to spend with his patients to listen to their issues instead of rushing them in and out I immediately made an appointment! His team is amazing! I have never had a doctor care like he does and his whole practice is the same, they are a great group of people and I have never had a complaint!! 5 stars doesn't seem to be enough for this practice!??????

By far, Dr. Hansen is the most qualified, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor I have ever had. He advocates for his patients and he isn’t afraid to take on complex cases. I appreciate that he listens and never rushes you out of his office. He is definitely one in a million, so if you’re his patient make sure to keep him because you won’t find another like him!

Dr. Hansen did what others were afraid to do; treat my pain after breaking my back in a car crash. Without him, my life would very much be miserable. He is truly thorough and understanding.

Dr. Hanson is a good doctor and cares about people but sometime things happen in life you cannot control and being with him from the start of his new practice and being let go by a letter in the mail was pretty sad even though I paid all the fees required. He did not even have enough compassion to see me face to face so I could explain my side of the issues. I wish I could have talked to him about the issues but did not see him anymore saw all the new hires he may have understood my situation and we could have worked through it. I have an injury that will last me for the rest of my life with probably another surgery in the near future for L-4 /L-5 fusion and I still need care but no other practice will see me because I was let go. Like I said I like Dr. Hanson but have a little more compassion for your patients and not how big your practice can get you are losing the personal touch you have had in the past.

Receive treatment from Dr. Hansen and he is very knowledgeable in many areas, is very compassionate and understanding. I would recommend him highly. Ive been to numerous Dr.s and can say he is.the absolute best!!

Dr Hansen, himself, is a good pain management doctor in the Hampton roads area. His patients must follow a strict protocol however his staff has the authority to discharge a patient without the opportunity for that patient to have a discussion with Dr. Hansen prior to a decision. I have a family member that is in chronic pain due to a spinal fracture and fusion 20 years ago. When he began going to Dr. Hansen, the doctor was just beginning his private practice and my family member was probably one of his first patients. However, he was self pay and when he had to get a drug screen the Lab would not immediately take him because he did not have insurance. He alerted Dr. Hansen's office of the delay as he did not want to risk being questioned later for the delay. Within a day or 2 he was able to get the screen performed when another family member paid using a credit card. The results were sent to Dr. Hansen's office (negative results). When he went back to Dr. Hansen's he was… informed by staff that he was discharged because the lab results were late. This person needs opioids for pain, not for recreation. His entire life was affected by the action of one person. Dr. Hansen should show more respect for his patients by giving them the opportunity to talk to him as every situation is different. The rating is a reflection of the action of his office. His staff did a huge disservice to this person that wanted only to be as pain free as possible.

She was the cruelest woman that I ever dealt with in a pain management office in my entire life! It was. It was like she was on a power trip and got off on the fact that she could terminate anyone from the practice even if they didn’t deserve it. There are a lot of elderly that are patients that she’s the done the same to! I had something happen to me! I had meds stolen so I filed a police report and took the info up to my doctors and unfortunately they couldn’t replace it! So I excepted it! And I was talked to another employee who helped me calm down when the office manager come up with print out and read it to me! Needless to say she was very condisending! And out of the blue she said it sounded like i didn’t want to be part of the practice and terminated me! I started crying and begged hurt not to do this. So she changed her mind. I never i was unhappy. She can’t be aloud to keep doing this! I did pay the extra concierge fee to deal with this! She needs to be let go!!

after dr Hansen saw me I was sure that he could help me with this issue.He helped me control thepain with proper meds and follow up visits
