Dr. Robert A Houghton, MD

Dr. Houghton is awesome. Been going to him for years now and am very comfortable with him for my primary care. The office staff is great and I really like having other services like the lab in the same building.

I have been going to Dr. Houghton for years and think he is the best. I am very comfortable with him in all aspects.

The office is very difficult to deal with. Poor communication and follow up. The Doctor is certainly aware, but the lack of professionalism is allowed to continue.

I have been going to Dr. Houghton's office for many years. I just wanted to let anyone who reads this that he is a really heart touching doctor. I have been going through a lot of medical downs with not a lot of ups, and Dr. Houghton has been there for me to give me the support and medical attention I need. I will continue to go to his off where his staff is like no other. You first walk in and it's not the waiting room you would expect its nice and well furnished (needs a tv or something for the wait) then you have Erika the receptionist and, I forgot his name I think its Tony, he is another Dr. there, they will keep you entertained. The nurse, Tofer, that works there is very perfessional and nice. He calms yours nerves a little while he takes you blood pressure and what nots before you see the Dr with a smile on his face all the time. Then doctor comes in with usually a hug and then we talk and catch up for a minute before we start treatment. He is one of those doctors who you can… tell really truely cares about his patients, and will help you as much as possible. Overall I just wanted to say this is the best doctors office I have seen and been to, I highly reccomend going to see this doctor or changing him to your primary. all I can say that he is the best

I don't go to doctors very often, but I'm not particularly impressed with Dr Houghton. Everytime I'm there I wait about a 1/2 hour to see him, and on top of that I'm just not real confident in his medical advice. I would not reccomend him to a friend

I have been going to this physician for many years. Yes, he's always running late, and yes, I have been there when the staff was supposed to start work, or back from lunch and they seem to not hurry back. Out of a score of 10 (10 being best), I would rate him a 6... I know getting an appt with the dr can be an ordeal (I used urgent care a couple of times knowing I couldn't get in to Dr. H any time soon), and I know there's a window of up to an hour to be seen, but I think he genuinely means well and is competent.

I recently went to Dr. Houghton, and complained about excessive daytime sleepiness. For years other doctors have just asked if i was getting enough sleep, are you depressed etc... Dr. Houghton recommended that I go do a Overnight Sleep Study to find out what was going on. I was properly diagnosed with Mild Sleep Apnea. I had never heard of a sleep study or sleep apnea and this has really been a wonderful experience finding out the real cause of my excessive daytime sleepiness. Thank you Dr. Houghton for listening to my problem and sending me for further evaluation by a sleep study center.

I was very impressed with this doctor and his staff. They were professional, made me feel comfortable and the doctor was very caring. I would refer with high recommendations.
