Dr. Robert Mayo Israel

Dr. Robert Israel is very knowledgeable and not afraid to rectify problems. He diagnosed and corrected my R. Shoulder Impingement while I played college baseball in 1990 at St. Francis College in downtown Brooklyn. To this date(26 years later), my shoulder is problem-free when I throw the baseball. He has also scoped cleansed, and corrected both of my knees which used to give me pain, slip, and "lock-out".

He is a great surgeon

I am happy to report, that after reporting this Dr. to NY State Health Department, they have put him on probation and his is NOT allowed to do IME's EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will also have to be "watched" by a licensed practitioner. I wish they took his license but I'm happy they didn't ignore the situation!

This was our IME DR doctor it took 3 hours to be seen in the Ronkokoma office for a less then a 5 min exam. Dr lied said he used a gionimeter to measure range of motion when he did not. This doctor is a fake and only works for the Ins company. do not go to this doctor if you have a IME ask for a different DR.

Dis reguards the facts incomplete exzam does not really do an independ exzam dis- reguards x ray's and mri's make up the report with no reguard for the facts. truly favors the insurance company that hires him to do evlautions.

DR ISREAL SHOULD LOSE HIS LICENSE FOR GIVING A PATIENT, WHO HE WAS AWARE HAD A PILL ADDICTION, PRESCRIPTIONS FOR PERCOCET. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN!!

He is incompetent. Do not go to him.

This Doctor & I use that term loosely should be put out to pasture. He perjures himself constantly in his IME report for the insurance company, if you have to go to him, take witness & tape it because he doesn't know the knee from the thigh from the calf!

I have read the negative reviews from people who wre sent by insurance companies to get examined. I have been a patient for 15 years with a lawsuit of my own and Dr. Israel has been more than great, proffessional and shows real concern. For those with nasty comments if you dont have a real injury why would you expect for him to lie for you...get over it.

This doctor has no business being in the field. He is nothing but a scammer for the insurance companies. I had to video tape this jerk to prove what he says in his report doesnt match what the video says. When the video is on him he trys to be quiet and trys to hush you up while the video is playing, when you're trying to tell him something. I had 3 herniated disks removed, blockers put in and a metal plate. I haven't even been able to do physical therapy yet and this guy says i only have a minor injury. He trys anyway to make you look bad and he is supposed to be a independent doctor. He has no professionalism at all. I cannot believe he is a doctor. I think he works for a funeral parlor, and does IME on the side. I will get this guy for fraud. It's only a matter of time. I suggest anybody who goes to him to video tape their session because that is the only way to keep him honest, and challenge all of his reports with the video tape. Because this guy is nothing but a loser. So Good… Luck whoever has him.
