Dr. Robert Jalosinski, MD

Since my first visit to now, I am feeling better with Dr. Jalosinki as my psychiatrist. I also like that appointments with him are on time and easy location on Tamiami Trail.

I'm doing really good with doctor and better than other doctors. Office does not take insurance but help me with billing and getting my money from insurance.

We are pleased with Dr J's care. He is knowledgeable, relatable, responsive, and clearly communicates information to us. Happy with results so far and for continued improvement.

I honestly can't believe this guy is still in practice. I saw him as a teen and stopped when he was having issues because he was involved in insurance fraud. He is so unethical. He made a rule that I was not allowed to know what medications I was on. I stopped taking them because I didn't know what was going into my body, so he told me if I ever refused again, he would pull down my pants and shoot my in the butt with my medications, without my consent. I was so scared of him. He had me on three different ADHD medications at one point when I DON'T HAVE ADHD. He allowed me to up my ADHD medications at will to help myself lose weight. He treated my anorexia with narcolepsy medications so I wouldn't have to eat to get energy.

Careless, meaning cares less about the patient than the money!! Takes a "stab in the dark" to prescribe a medication, then "wants to see you back in a month" for another $200! It's that simple. There is no counseling, per se, nor does he like documentation! Go ahead, ask for your records and I'm not sure they exist! If you don't have insurance (or especially if you do) he is not the guy for you. He will put you on the cheapest medication and I would never go out of his way to help get social services or something that would really be beneficial!! Text book psychiatrist, and whether he knowingly or not has ruined the lives of at least two families I know of! I only gave one star because they didn't have anything less! No office help and no regular hours. I don't feel his heart is in it, and he is the age where I think he is just plain burned out!! More like criminal to be wasting the lives of adolescents that will never get those years back..I'm not s surprised he isn't in jail… because what credibility does a psychiatric patient have to even think about a law suit!! Check it out! Psychiatrists are "immune" from punishments others aren't, using the privacy act as an excuse. It's just sad.

Dr. Jalosinski is a caring psychiatrist who has helped me when others couldn’t help me. He makes time for his patients when new to his practice or ongoing like myself. I continue to improve. I’ll definitely follow Dr. J to his new Naples office when he moves soon

No CT Brain done, no other diagnostic testing and waited 6 MONTHS using me as a "guinae pig" before family intervention to try something different since "HIS" routinely used mediations for paranoid schizophrenia are "generic" and archaic in nature...HALDOL?? (1952), with weight gain of morbidic proportions! Every time I;ve been in there have been drug reps (same ones) so, ....I just WONDER?? HMMMM>...

After reading the positive reviews, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. J.  I've never been diagnosed with anything in my lifetime ( in my 40's) and originally called for my child. He was quick to try to get a file open on me and began pushing multiple meds on both of us. He makes a quick diagnosis in the 1st or 2nd appointment and does not go beyond his first impression. There's no scratching beyond the surface or considering history.  What you get in the beginning will be the best he's got and the most you'll get out of him.  Six months later for us, his initial diagnosis was incorrect --so it was time lost.   His office is a mess, sloppy files 4 feet high in the treatment room, not a single staff member around to answer calls.  When/if he calls back, it's 8-10pm or 2am-never during the day.  He is easily irritable on the phone and does not answer questions well.    I didn't want to rush to judgment even though our gut was screaming, we stuck with him longer… but time told the truth. He often would say he was changing patients around to get you in sooner, or sending you to a pharmacist who will provide the prescription for less, or offering samples of medication-- presenting as a Hero. But what we found was opposite. He was not doing us favors-the pharmacist was his friend who charged 2x as much. Hidden agendas with this guy from little to big things.  If you call him on anything,  he becomes angry , fast talks & insists  "you don't understand".   This guy is in it for the $.   No fun exerting time & energy writing a review like this ( much easier to cut losses and move on)  just want to spare the next person time and trouble. Find the right professional- this one needs to retire.

I was desperate for a diagnosis. It seemed no one could help me. I called and Dr. J and he called back first chance he had and said he could hear the desperation in my voice. I told him I had years of testing with no result. He said he would diagnose me on my first visit and HE DID. I couldn't believe it..how could I have lived all these years and been so successful with this diagnosis. He said I learned how to live with this. Now there is help. He was warm, let me talk and gave me interesting facts. He even challenged me. I will always be thankful I found him in the phone book.

finally got proper diagnosis, now everything is making sense, getting better !!!
