Dr. Robert Gordon Johnson, MD

My experience with dr. Johnson was awesome. Just by his demeanor i could tell that he was a dr. With compassion. He was in no rush to to bill my insurance for a surgery. He made sure that my diagnosis was on point. He prepared me for my surgery making sure my physical body was fit for surgery. His staff was professional and made me feel very comfortable. I will highly recommend him. The only issue was it took a long time to get in to see him , but it was worth the wait.

Dr. Johnson performed a 4 level fusion from L3 to S1. I have been in sever pain since. On my last visit I asked for another MRI from the top of the neck to the bottom of my spine. My whole back and neck was in pain, the sever pain mostly in my lumbar is relentless. He said okay for the MRI. Then my insurance company wanted to talk to him about the MRI. HE REFUSED! His clerk said that "He hates talking to insurance companies!". That's the last I talked with him. I'm disabled and not able to work. I later told my primary what happened and how he hates talking to insurance companies. He said he didn't want to do it because it's demeaning. Have you ever had a job, where you're a professional and suddenly because of necessity, you're asked to do something that's not inline with your career, in fact because you're a professional, the task is demeaning. We ALL have those times when we "take one for the team". This doctor won't do that for you. He gets you up on the table… and cuts, drills and screws the metal together. But when things didnt work the way they are supposed to, he throws up his hand and just quits. Then you become a statistic all because the guy, um excuse me, Doctor, can't stand it. So he buries his head in the sand and pretends it goes away. But nine years later, an old patient comes around telling his story. RUN! GO SEE SOMEBODY WHO REALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR SPINE!

Dr Johnson did my final spinal surgery. He was knowledgeable and explained the procedures thoroughly. I would recommend him

I THINK IT'S UNFAIR HOW THE HOSPITAL AND DR JOHNSON IS COVERING UP THE DEATHE OF MY DAUGHTER AFTER BACK SURGERY BY SAYING MY DAUGHTER HAD CHRONIC LUNG DISEASE WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS NEVER EVER DIAGNOSED ARE TREATED FOR NO SUCH THING. ALSO THE TX MEDICAL BOARD HAS A WOMAN NAME BARBARA JORDAN THAT REALLY MAKE ME THINK THIS WAS ALL A COVER UP. THEY FOUND EVIDENCE BUT YET AND STILL RULED IN HIS FAVOR
