Summary
Dr. Jungman is a San Diego County native and a graduate of San Diego State University. He attended dental school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After graduation, he searched San Diego County for an ideal dental practice location, and decided that Escondido was the best place to establish a family dental practice, with his wife and dental partner, Dr. Julie Kangas. He adopted the name Citracado Dental as it reflects the agricultural & historical heritage of North County. Dr. Jungman and Dr. Kangas are the parents of four sons: Robert, a dentist at Citracado Dental, Brian, an electrical engineer in Carlsbad, Nick, a dentist resident in Santa Barbara, and David, a UC Irvine graduate in Computer Game Science. All four Jungman boys are Eagle Scouts.
