I have been with Dr. Jurko since shortly after he began practicing in Chesapeake. I have always been very satisfied with his practice and have recommended him to many people. He took care of my mother until her death at 91. My husband is also a patient. I have found his staff to be confident and professional. Four appointments required to become a patient. Long wait times. Avoid.

My entire family goes to Dr. Jurko, His treatment is conservative. If tests are needed he does not hesitate. He explains procedures and diagnosis in terms that is understandable. The bedside manner he displays is wonderful and he does not mind answering questions. I also like the fact he has sick call allowing one to get assistance when running a fever or upset stomach. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a caring physician.

Dr. Jurko has been my doctor for 27 years. After I became a patient my parents, grandfather, disabled husband and now my daughter have all become his patients. He helped my grandfather have a wonderful quality of life for his last seven years (he died at age 91). He cares. He spends as much time with you as is needed to listen, diagnose your problem, explain procedures, or whatever it takes for the patient to be cared for. In my opinion, he is the Best!
