I became a dentist mainly due to the influence of a dentist relative and the desire to work with my hands. At a young age I was building model cars with painful attention to detail. As a dentist the attention to detail is still there less the "painful" part.
After graduating from Loyola Dental School in 1984, I worked for my relative, eventually owning my own practice. I joined Webster Dental Care in 2008 and couldn't be happier. Here I am able to focus on treating patients rather than running the business. I enjoy the side of dentistry that frequently gets neglected—that of teaching. Teaching everything from plaque removal to what type of restoration works best and why.
One of the most fulfilling things about being a dentist is combining art and science using my hands and mind to help create confidence and self esteem in others. I love the one to one relationship that I have with my patients as we …discuss as treatment plan that will provide them with the best possible dental care for a healthy mouth.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. I am also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
