Dr. Robert Neil Kass

Dr. Kass has given me excellent medicinal care for over seventeen years. I have seen many physicians in that time for specialized care who have been less than adequate in comparison to him. I highly recommend him.

I went to Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Westminster, MD and had the worst experience of any doctor I have ever been to. I would NOT recommend you ever go to Dr. Robert N. Kass or any of the doctors at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. I needed to get blood work done because I was feeling extremely fatigued and was sleeping excessively. When I called to ask if Dr. Kass would also check for Vitamin D and Anemia with my blood work the staff said "I'm sure that won't be a problem. Just tell the nurse who takes your blood to add those things." I thought that would be all I had to do. Easy enough, right? Absolutely NOT. When I went in to get my blood drawn I did exactly what the staff told me to do. The nurse got very rude when I asked if those two things could be added to my blood work. She then proceeded to tell me nothing could be added unless I got something from a doctor on a prescription pad but she would ask Dr. Kass. After I left, she called me and told me that Dr. Kass… refused to add Vitamin D and Iron to my blood work but gave me no reason why. I called back later that day wanting to talk to Dr. Kass just to get his reasoning on why he would not add those two things when they could easily be the cause of my fatigue. He did not return my phone call. I called SIX more times and left six messages for him over four days to find out that he was ignoring all of my calls. His medical assistant called me on the fourth day with my blood work results and to tell me all of the sudden he was going to add Iron and Vitamin D to my blood work. She also told me that she never saw ANY of my messages or the sticky note that one of the staff had said she was going to put on his computer. Not only am I disappointed with him being so unprofessional that he could not give me (His patient) two minutes of his time over the phone, but also with the RUDE staff that was going along with him while he IGNORED my call. I will NEVER be back to Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Westminster, MD and I will tell everyone about the awful experience I had with Dr. Robert N. Kass.
