Dr. Robert Tyson Keller, MD

He is a good doctor but his staff that renews mail order prescriptions is awful. I have contacted them multiple times for my husband meds since May 2023 and still don’t have them as of July 16, 2023. We both will be changing doctors. I’m sure he has no clue about these issues. I wish someone would contact me ASAP.

I have been a patient of Dr Keller for over 15 yr. I would not consider going to anyone else. He really cares about his patients & prescribes the best treatment & writes instructions down for me. Plus he is friendly & happy in his work.

I was in the hospital at Medical City about a year ago. I was in the emergency room. I remember him coming in saying I was like him, old and overweight. How rude of any doctor say something like that to someone they had never met! I was back in the hospital almost a year later again in the emergency room. He didn't talk to me but talked to me daughter and son-in-law. He had permission to talk to my daughter but not my son-in-law or anyone else within hearing distance. I always thought a doctor should talk to the patient first to see what happened. How would my daughter know if she was not there? He ran some tests during my visit. One was unauthorized by me nor did he attempt to discuss it with me. On the day I was to be dismissed, he sit on the side of my bed, leaned back and made fun of me. I am 73 years old, have always been responsible for all my decisions including medical. I will not tolerate such poor treatment from a doctor or anyone. He did not show respect and… is very unprofessional. With all the above in mind, I can not recommend this doctor to anyone.

We have been seeing Dr. Keller for many years. He is always straight forward, professional and caring. True, there have been some issues with his staff but those seem to have been worked out. That never changed what we thought of HIM as our health care provider. I love the fact that when hospitalized at Plaza Medical, he came by in person every day. Don't see that much any more.
