Dr. Robert Paul Kostoroski, DO

Dr. Kostoroski was rude and unprofessional to me when my parent was his patient at Mount Sinai Medical Center. When I asked for updates, he said he would only talk to one family member. He made sarcastic comments and was loud and obnoxious. Dr. Kostoroski also barely checked on my parent at all throughout their stay and offered no words of support or comfort.

Horrible experience at Mount Sinai with this doctor. He is extremely rude, unprofessional and does not care about his patients or their families. My father is in hospice at Mount Sinai and was assigned this “doctor”. I use the term “doctor” loosely as he is anything but. He was very sarcastic, belittling, condescending and just plain rude when we tried to ask him any questions regarding my father’s condition and plans for future care. Instead of being supportive during this incredibly difficult time, he mocked and ridiculed us. Wish I could give zero stars. Mount Sinai needs to do better.

My mother was a patient at Mount Sinai Medical Center Hospital. He was insulting and disrespectful towards me. I was telling him how my mother slid down in the hospital bed, and I like to put a note to remind the nurses and staff. To move her back up to keep my mother from Aspirating. Dr Kostoroski said with a smile, "WHAT YOU LIKE US TO LOOK AT HER IN BED FOR 24 hours. I reported him to the hospital Risk Management. I didn’t see him anymore because I was not able to come to the hospital anymore, but other family members did. Dr. Kostoroski did not put to the Pharmacy my mother's medications and I was told next day he did it but the pharmacy never received any new prescriptions from Dr Kostoroski so the floor Secretary give me the doctor phone number it was a Answering service I was told he will get back to me but never did. My mother have to wait over a week and days to she see her primary care doctor.

Horrible. He was the resident doctor at mt Sinai medical Center Miami Beach. Never came to speak with us personally. His only agenda was to throw our relative into hospice. His medical notes were rude, dismissive, insulting to the family and he showed no caring for our relative’s health. During the last days of hospitalisation, we had to ask for certain tests to be done because he was not ordering any diagnostic exams for our relative before releasing him to a rehab Center. He treated the patient like a number and not a human being. If I could I would put zero stars
