Dr. Robert D Laufer

My husband has been going to Dr Laufer for quite awhile, however his office never seems to know what is going on and the doctor never seems to know what is going on in his front office. There is no organzation and they do not do what they say they are like meeting with an insurance company for a peer to peer for a scan the doctor recommended.... went to his office 3 x's to get them to submit the clinical notes why the scan was needed instead they said oh we will get that taken care of... my insurance dealt with Dana who twice stated they will submit the correct clinical notes for the scan to be approved. To this day nothing has happened and Dr has no clue that our insurance needed to get with him on this .... horrible.,... my husband has now been forced to find a new PCP cause this office cannot geet it together.....also appt are set with 5 people for the same time...who do they see first...... so sad since the dr office is on the corner....

I HAVE A PATIENT OF DR. LAUFER FOR AT 14 YEARS. IN ALL THAT TIME I HAVE NEVER LEFT HIS OFFICE NOT KNOWING?? HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING UNTIL I UNDERSTAND. HE HAS GOTTEN ME THROUGH SEVERAL HEALTH ISSUES AND I APPRECIATE HIM. THANK YOU DR. LAUFER.

Dr. Laufer has been my doctor since I was a child. He saw my mother and brother as well, and now he treats my son and husband as well. Once or twice, I have been on insurance plans that do not allow me to see him, but whenever I am able to go back he always remembers me, my family, and genuinely cares for our well being. He is extremely knowledgeable and always explains himself in a way that is easy to follow and understand. I truly respect this man and I trust him completely with the well being of, literally, my entire family.

HES THE WORST DR I EVER WENT TO SEE . YOU CANT EVEN ASK HIM A QUESTION WITH OUT HIM GETTING MAD HE THINKS HE NO EVERY THING.HE MISSED DIAGNSNSED ME FOR A HERNIA . HAD TO GO SEE A SURGEN .SAID I DID NOT HAVE A HERNIA .IMSCARED TO GO BACK TO HIM. I RECORED THE WHOLE VISIT. NEVER GOING BACK

Well educated and knowledgeable in a wide range involving the entire body's wellness and illness. He asks pertinent questions, listens thoroughly, genuinely concerned for well being, thorough and accurate diagnosis. He is kind and patient! Best doctor my family has ever had!!!

I had an initial appointment with Dr. Robert D. Laufer. He has absolutely no bedside manner. I have been on a sleeping medication for years and have never had a problem with prescription renewals to handle my insomnia. I am new to the Mesa and was wanting to establish a new PCP but this guy said I didn't need this and I should look further for a physician because he wouldn't help me nor did he offer alternatives. He knows nothing about me nor wanted to know anything about me...would definitely not recommend!

Wow This guy is the real thing. He cares and it shows. A little high stung, on the move, seems he has a lot to get done but still spends time to making sure he is focused on you.

I went to this Dr. 5 years ago for really bad pains in my stomach, he tells me I'm backed up and sends me to get some fleets/castor oil to clean out. Two days later after no relief I had to go to the ER. They admitted me immediately and said my lipease levels in my blood were dangerously off the chart (pancreatitus). A simple order of a blood test would have saved me from having to go through all that clean out and stomach pain. This diagnosis was not the only one that was wrong. He is a good cold and flu Doc and that's it.

He is very accurate in diagnosing my problems and shows care. He is the first person I would go to if I am ever sick.

Rude and hostile. Strictly a "Greet 'em and street 'em" doctor. Spends little time diagnosing me, even though I had a serious issue, which he blamed on "stress" and "hypochondria".This is one man who should not be a Doctor. He simply does not have the psychological toolset.
