Dr. Robert C Lawler, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Lawler for well over 20 years - I think I was probably one of his first patients. I originally was going to another great doctor at TRE; however, he was ill on the day I was scheduled for a follow up visit after minor surgery. I was given my choice of waiting until my doctor recovered and had an opening or to see a young doctor, who had recently joined the practice. Since I was in sales and had a full upcoming schedule out of town. I chose to see the young doctor, who turned out to be Dr. Robert Lawler - our personalities clicked and I have been his patient ever since. We have been thru breast cancer, Lymphadema and Menopause together. I now live close to the Wisconsin/Illinois border and drive over 50 miles each way, just to continue being his patient. I feel he KNOWS me and all I have been thru in my life medically and personally ( I was widowed at age 51 and remarried two years later to my late husband's best friend) and understands me. He always… makes me feel comfortable on my visits and check ups. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone,who asks!

My appointment was fantastic, but I was even more impressed that when I called a few days later with a question, I spoke with Dr. Lawler directly and he spent a considerable amount of time discussing my question and was very kind. Extraordinary. Best doctor I've ever seen.

Amazing doctor, words can't describe it

I have seen Dr. Lawler for many years. He is such a compassionate doctore. When I had to have a D&C after a miscarriage he stood next to me while I was receiving the anesthetic and help my hand while I drifted off. I remember the tears rolling down my checks because I new that I lost a baby, but while he couldn't take the pain away he definitely made me feel at ease. Dr. Lawler has also been there for me during all 3 of my c-sections, again very compassionate and always taking the time to answer any questions that I have.
