If you have any medical concern that cannot be resolved in a single visit, I strongly urge you to find another provider. Dr. Robert Levine is nice in person, but if you need to contact him via Kaiser's portal for any reason at all, you will almost certainly not get a response. The problem with that is that Kaiser’s HMO requires the PCP to coordinate all of your care, so when he ignores your messages, you’re stuck. I’ve been dealing with severe pain for over four months, and his negligence has significantly delayed my recovery. In addition to ignoring his patients, he also ignores other KP providers: My physical therapy has been on-hold for over a month because he’s also not responding to my KP assigned physical therapist who needs information from him to continue treating me. Even after lodging a formal complaint, nothing changed. Ultimately, I selected a different PCP.
