Dr. Robert Gordon Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis is very rude and loud with his patients. Dr. Lewis tries to force you to use his physical therapy office below his and tells you that you cannot go anywhere else. I would never recommend anyone to go see him for shoulder surgery.

Dr. Lewis and his staff are amazing. They were so helpful and friendly when my son broke his arm. They will never know how truly great full I am for what they did for us.

Dr Lewis was awesome!! He explains thing so well. I can actually understand my diagnosis. Thanks Dr. Lewis!!

I have a 87 year old father, who fell on Memorial Day and had surgery out of town. I had to get my father out of rehab to go to his primary care physician to get a referral to go and see Dr. Lewis. Brittany his handler made me wait a week before she could tell me that Dr. Lewis could not do anything for my Dad? His staples were 2 weeks over due. I had to take out of rehab and take him back to Griffin, GA to be seen by the Ortho doctor that did his surgery, where he fell out of town. I took my 87 year old Dad on a 7 hour journey because of this decision. This is so wrong on so many levels! Why did they treat an old person this way? Was Brittney to blame? Did Dr. Lewis know what i needed for my Dad? Regardless, I received zero service from Brittany and the office, and was told to take my Dad to Ace Acute Care to have his staples removed. Thank you so much for taking care of the elderly!

I saw Dr. Lewis this morning 4/21/2014. I was very impressed with him and his staff. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and thorough including the front desk, nurse, x-ray tech, check out and doctor Lewis. Dr. Lewis reviewed my X-ray did an examination and listened to everything I had to say. I ended up with a steroid shot in my shoulder, prescription and some therapy. I will see I him a month for a follow up to determine if I will need surgery. I had actually read one bad review on here and was nervous for my appointment today but as soon as I met Dr. Lewis I realized I was in good hands.

Dr Lewis has bad bad bedside manners. Has no time to talk to you in office in a hurry. I told him my I was having to do alot of repetitive stuff on my job,he said on well it didn't matter. So if it does not matter why is it on my sheet for work on my limitations. He told me I need to get another job and was hateful about it!! Will NOT go back to him again! i SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT.

I recently had carpal tunnel surgery by Dr. Lewis because I saw his handling of rotator cuff surgery of my wife. My wife is a emergency room nurse and has seen many physicians over her career and has been really impressed at his expertise and his handling of patients.
