treats each patient as an individual takes the time to know your situation, even though very busy ,uses common sense. PLAINLY COMMUNICATES. REGARDLESS OF THE ISSUES MAKES ONE FEEL COMFORTABLE UNDER HIS CARE !

Dr. MacDonald is an excellent family physician. He listens attentively to what you have to say...asks good questions....explains things.....follows through quickly.... is very knowledgeable.....and caring and is a very comfortable person to open up to. He's been my doctor for many years and I feel very confident with his care.

I saw him once, years ago, when he was the on-call doctor for my doctor when she was out of town. I was impressed with his treatment of me; he listened and seemed to truly care. I have never forgotten how kind he was with me, even though I wasn't his patient.

Been with Dr. MacDonald for 13 years, and have never been even slightly upset with him...I'm not always easy to please either. His sweet and calm demeanor places you into a state of peacefulness right away. Hoping this man never dies, retires, or quits before I leave this world!

This guy is a joke. I had heart palpitations and this guy suggested a Hiatial hernia. I went to a cardiologist, suggested this guys idea and was laughed at in my face. I was put on a Halter Monitor by the Cardiologist and it was about a week, 10 days afterwards and I had not heard the results as of yet, and I assumed this guy was in the loop, considering he was MY Doctor. I e-mailed him with my concerns and he said Got it. I suggest you contact the cardiologist. I just thought this was very cold. I am a 35 on the BMI rating and asked the Doc if he would entertain putting me on a new diet med that was out. He refused. That is all fine, but the way he went about it suggesting I see a nutritionist. I told him I am obese, I don't need to know what is making me fat, I already know. I need help in getting the weight off and at 53, I know what works and what doesn't. This guy is just a fool and I firmly believe that he is not in this occupation to make people 'better' He just… wastes every bodies time everyday and goes home and does it again. I do not believe there is a caring bone in his body. No empathy. Not willing to try new things or things that work, plus he had no clue as to what may have been causing my palpitations. He just guessed. At least that is the feeling I got from him. Stay away.
