I wanted him to do my surgery because I was already familiar with him and I knew his stellar reputation. The MD that wanted me to get a biopsy also recommended him, just randomly. So we were on the same page. Needless to say I had a biopsy and later surgery and no problems or complications whatsoever. He exudes confidence and he has a good sense of humor. He never talked down to me. He’s professional and attuned. Other MD’s respect him. You will be in good hands.

In 1991 I had my. gall bladder and part of my colon removed. Many surgeries and mesh replacements happened. In 2007 I had a mesh replace in my right upper abdomen about 3 to 4 ins. in diameter. it failed in 2012. When they went in they had to stop and start over. The previous mesh that was a 6 in by 4in and the one in the upper abdomen had wrapped around my intestines. They cut my small and large colon and was extremely careful with my small colon. When I woke up they told me they had to perform a complete colon reconstruction replacing all the old mesh. Was told this was finally fixed. In 2015 the mesh in the upper abdomen was bulging out. My back was hurting playing basketball. I was referred to DR Michael Floyd after finding I had a large cyst on my right kidney. He was in different network than previous doctors and was referred to Robert Marcus Jr. and after examination said the 3 x 6 and the 3 to 4 in diameter mesh both had messed up. He and Dr. Floyd did all 3 surgeries on me… 12/03/2015. Dr. Marcus said it was fixed once and for all. This year I had pain in my abdomen. a CT scan showed scar tissue was the problem and injections solved it' My family Dr. said the repair Dr. Marcus did was safe and secure and would last. Dr. Marcus did what 12 other doctors and mesh surgeries couldn't do. If you need mesh replacement or surgery I recommend Dr. Marcus. Tell him Travis sent you
