Dr. Robert Joseph Mascitelli, MD

This doctor kept taking chest X-rays over exposing me to radiation when not necessary. Never diagnosed me properly. Scary experience.

Does NOT accept patients over 55. Pediatric cardiology?

Excellent top notch physician. Thorough examination and expert accurate diagnosis. Spends considerable time with patient. Demonstrates great warmth and sincere interest in patient as s whole person. Follow up thorough and timely. Staff highly competent and caring as well. I once neglected to make a routine preventative appointment. The office called me out of concern of not hearing from me for sometime-they really care. Unusual personal care in this age of depersonalized managed medicine.

I'm very frustrated. Sorry to say that, but the doctor is not competent to do the examination. He listened to my heart through the coat!!

It's easy to get an appointment because he is not a good doctor. I wish I had known otherwise I would have gone to another doctor. Dr. Mascitelli has a severe retinal condition where he is almost legally blind. He cannot even find where his telephone is on his desk let alone use the stethoscope properly to find my heart. I never felt more uncomfortable in my life. He spent a total of 2 minutes with me. His assistant did the EKG and the blood work and everything else. Dr. Mascitelli should not be practicing. His disability affects his work. He may have been a good doctor before his retinal disease. But I think it's important for a doctor to have full use of his senses and especially sight in order to detect abnormalities in patients early. He would not be able to see a cancerous mole on the tip of your nose if you had one. Beware and find another doctor.

I have been a Patient for 5 years. I just completed my annual Physical. The standards for this office remain high.The final Consultation consisted of a Comprehensive Review of all Tests including Comprehensive Overview, Findings and Next Steps.The Office and Doctor are always there for questions, scripts, etc. throughout the year.I fly in from out of town to see them.

This is a real doctor's office not a patient processing plant. It is rare these days to have a doctor spend time with you - the nurse may do the preliminary tests but you actually get to see the doctor - and he actually cares!
