Although there was an HVAC issue first thing in the morning, everything went very well. Dr McKay is one of the friendliest yet most professional physicians I’ve ever known. He’s repaired both of my shoulders now and I couldn’t be happier with the work he did. he has a very supportive team backing him up and they’re all fantastic as well. Thank you, Dr. McKay and team!

Dr.McKay is an amazing doctor. He was very informative about my surgery, telling me exactly what to expect and what he would be doing. He is very patient and took the time to listen to and answer all my questions. He called me at home after surgery to see how I was doing and to see if I had any additional questions. In my follow-up appointments, he showed me pictures before and after surgery and took time to explain each in detail. Again, he took time to answer all my questions. Altho I am now just doing physical therapy, he insured me he would be available if I had additional concerns. It's nice to have a doctor that honestly cares about his patients.

Dr McKay repaired both of my shoulders in the last 4 years. Both were a result of injuries and both were in really bad shape. I’m at the 12 week point of recovery as I write this and am quite amazed at how much better my shoulder feels and what I’m able to do, just like the first surgery. Dr McKay and Oly Ortho have far exceeded my expectations and I hope I never have to see them again, but knowing me never say never.

I was referred to Oly Orthopedic by my primary care doctor. I had surgery on my right shoulder in Sept. 2023 to repair my rotator cuff and bicep muscles. I first met with Dr. McKay's PA Tyler to discuss my problem. He had xrays taken and made suggestions. I decided to have an MRI for further clarity. Oly Ortho contacted my insurance company and I had my MRI about 1 - 2 weeks later. We discussed the surgery and recovery and I agreed that surgery was the best option. Dr McKay explained the surgery and what he was going to do. I had 3 follow-up visits with Tyler and Dr McKay after the surgery and saw before and after pictures of my shoulder and arm. I was surprised by how bad it looked before the surgery. I was told recovery would take 4 - 6 months and that I should do physical therapy. It's been 4 months now and I can feel the improvement but still have a ways to go. The hardest part for me is sleeping in a bed. A big thank you to Dr McKay, Tyler and all the staff for their friendly and… courteous service.

I have been going to Olympia orthopedic clinic since 1990. I started with Dr. Helpin, then Dr. Manista. I met with Dr. McKay on Monday for a follow-up appointment on the issues in my left shoulder and like all the other doctors through this clinic he made me feel very comfortable... He explained to me what the options were for treatment And even told me there might be a need for further Investigation.... I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone... I like it so much that I drive from Renton Washington down to Olympia Washington for my appointments..

Dr. McKay is an excelllent surgeon. He did a shoulder repair. He was not at all pushy to convince me to have the surgery. He showed me pictures taken during the surgery it showed the damage he explained what he did then the final repaired shoulder and it looks like new, he did a beautiful job. Dr McKay gave explicit instructions to me and my physical therapist to achieve proper healing. He even has videos on YouTube to give patients all kinds of information to help the experience go better. Dr Mc was recommended to me by several friends and I recommend him without any hesitation
