I would give zero stars if I could. Went to Dr Merritt with pulsatile tinnitus (whooshing in ear). He ruled out hearing loss and then claimed it was just anxiety (I dont have anxiety) and had me come back in a month. When I went back I told him that I now also had numbing and tingling on the left side of my face. He claimed it was nothing and said I need to learn to live with it. I explained to him that I had researched pulsatile tinnitus and its different than ringing tinnitus and usually needs a referral to a neurosurgeon. He and his nurse rudely dismissed me and refused to give me the referral. I did end up getting a referral from my GP and after seeing the neurosurgeon it was discovered that I have 2 veins in my brain that are collapsing and intracranial hypertension. Pulsatile Tinnitus is the main symptom for this. I will be having brain surgery soon. Dr Merritt nearly killed me if I had listened to him and just dealt with it. Stay away from him as if your life depended on it!

Dont waste your time on this guy, worse dr ive ever seen

I've been battling daily Vertigo. I recently was seen by Dr. Merritt and while explaining my daily struggles and MANY office visits later to this office over my condition, he stopped me and told me to keep my emotions out of it. No bedside manner at all. He made me feel like everything I told him is in my head!! I will NEVER return to this clinic. They've ripped me off for hundreds of dollars and I've gotten NO answers, just the runaround.

My son came out of Dr. Merritt's visit feeling like it was an inconvenience for the Dr. to see him. Dr. inserted a camera scope into my son's nose down his throat with no concern how it bothered or hurt my son, Dr. just had a snotty attitude and remarked "what's wrong now". On my son's visit summary it states he has Gastro-esophageal reflux disease and Dysphagia, pharyngoesophageal phase but doctor in room gave him "clean bill of health" indicating It was in my son's head and doctor pointing to his head. The care is money driven because the doctor wanted to see my son back in a month, no way! I would never recommend anyone sending or going to see this Dr. Robert M Merritt.

I felt like there was no personalization, my care was money-driven. I take Xarelto, no cautierization used; Dr. was very loudly taking to a buddy on phone about football while I was waiting for procedure; room had two openings, no doors; no pain meds were offered; no written instructions as to wound care, emergency phone # was given; was made to feel like surgery was insignificant.
