Dr. Robert Bradley Michaels

I'm very happy to have found Dr. Michaels. He explains things thoroughly in plain, down-to-earth terms that are easy to understand. Although not his usual choice of medication, he was willing to work with me on an alternative hypothyroid medication (Armour, prescribed by a previous doctor) as long as my blood levels are in healthy range and I feel well. He responds in a very timely manner when I correspond with him through mymercy.net, which may solve some patients' issues with trying to get a hold of the doctor through the front desk.

My family just moved to the Eureka area and was referred to Dr Michaels by my neighbor. When I called Dr Michaels office to make a appointment I was put on hold for over 10 minutes which was very discouraging but eventually was able to schedule an appointment. I was skeptical going to my first office visit with Dr Michaels as I was not given a good impression when I made my appointment. Dr Michaels nurse Jennifer immediately made me feel at ease. It was very comforting that I felt a genuine sense of compassion from the beginning. Dr Michaels was quick to see me and very thorough. He took the time to listen to all my health concerns and explained everything in a way that I could finally understand. I feel that my health could not be in better hands by Dr Michaels and his staff. The compassion I feel by my new doctor is one in a million.

I had been searching for more than 2 years for a doctor who would actually listen to me, take my needs seriously, and not make me feel like they had to hurry on to their next patient. Several friends kept telling me repeatedly that I needed to give Dr. Michaels a try, I relented and made an appointment. All I can say now is that I'm sorry i waited so long to make the call.

Dr. Michaels is very relatable, and accessible. I can usually get in to see him easily, and he genuinely seems to like his job. My only complaint would be his staff. They can be very unprofessional and seem disorganized at times. Information does not seem to get from the dr. to the nurse very efficiently if I call with a question, and sometimes it's like playing telephone, where I info is related incorrectly, and sometimes there is no call back at all.

I love Dr Bob Michael's. He is a great doctor. Thanks for taking care of me

Dr. Michaels has always been caring and honest with me since I started going to him. It is nice to have a caring doctor in this day and age.

he needs more experience and new staff he is nice but not enough exp i would not go back to him
