He is an excellent physician. He is compassionate, supportive and explains things so they are easily understood. He is extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I decided to consult with Dr Millard after reading his great reviews on vitals, healthgrades and yelp. He has lived up to all his accolades. He correctly diagnosed my problem during the first visit. He ordered a MRI which confirmed his diagnosis. When anti-inflammatory medication and physical therapy didn’t completely alleviate my pain, epidurals were recommended. The procedure was expertly performed and has completely eliminated my pain for over 2 years now. An appropriate exercise program was then recommended by Dr Millard which I have continued daily. Dr Millard is caring, personable and clearly excellent at what he practices. I have referred many coworkers, family members and friends to him. They have all had excellent care as well. I could not recommend a spine specialist more highly!

I have been going to Dr. Millard for 10 years.  Dr. Millard’s care has truly given me a new lease on life.  I have numerous issues with my back.  Before I became his patient, my back was often completely out three weeks out of four.  I was in a lot of pain, and unable to enjoy normal activities.  The treatments I have received over the years, have really helped.  I am able to exercise, keep up with my children, and enjoy life!!   Dr. Millard is very upfront in telling me exactly what I need to do to keep my back in shape.  He will not mince words!!  Which I appreciate!!  He keeps me in line.   I have taken my Mom to another Dr. for her epidurals (different insurance), and seeing my Mom's Dr. has made me appreciate Dr. Millard even more.  Dr. Millard has a much better bed side manner and his staff is so much more accommodating than my Mother's Dr. Office.   Dr. Millard is truly the best in his field.  I feel better today than I did in my 20's.

I have been a patient of Dr. Millard's for almost 15 years. He is an excellent doctor who is friendly, a great listener, and very talented in his expertise of spine treatments. In 2002 I had a successful lumbar laminectomy for central canal spinal stenosis L3-5. In 2004 my neurosurgeon had referred me to Dr. Millard because I had been suffering with severe bilateral sciatic pain. He quickly assessed my condition and recommended an MRI and then epidural injections for L3-5. At the follow up appointment, Dr. Millard thoroughly explained the outcome of the injections. I have continued treatment with Dr. Millard because he is the best, and I am so thankful that he is so precise with the injections. What a lifesaving procedure! Dr. Millard is a wonderful doctor and I trust him completely in assessing and treating my spine. He is so caring and kind, and he never rushes through office visits. He balances his prescribed care to include physical therapy, injections when needed, and home… exercises. The Peninsula Procedure Center is wonderful and staffed with very professional and caring people. I highly recommend Dr. Millard to all!

Doctor Millard has treated me a few times over the last 5 years for bulged discs in L4 and L5. My intent is to avoid surgery at all costs. With his treatment and a solid dose of PT, my pain is under control and I'm back on the bike! His professionalism and knowledge about the intricacies of the back and spine made it easy for me to determine my treatment path. The other stellar element of the experience with Doctor Millard is his team...from the initial office visit to the surgery center, the crew knows their stuff!! Everyone involved is top notch in terms of process, safety, and professionalism right down to the juice and cookies after surgery! I was referred to Dr. Millard almost 6 years ago for head and neck aches. Since then, Dr. Millard assisted me in identifying that I have multiple neck issues (herniated disc, bone spurring, bone narrowing, etc). He has done nerve testing on my left arm because of the numbness and tingling that the nerve pain had caused at the beginning. Since then, he has done 5 cervical cortisone injections and 3 lumbar injections within the past 5 1/2 years. Recently, I had a really bad cervical flare up. He was able to get me in for appointments and for injections right away. Dr. Millard always has a positive and energetic bedside manner. I really appreciate that he takes the time to review my MRIs and my injection photos/x-rays with me.

I am so thankful I found Dr. Millard some two decades when my spinal problems began to surface. For all of that time, I've worked at a computer all day, five days a week, and it has taken its toll on my neck and back. He is a miracle worker who has kept me largely pain-free – without surgery – as long as he's been treating me. Dr. Millard is a careful listener and great at explaining complex problems. Dr. Millard has worked many pro sports teams, which turns out to be a plus for the rest of us. Instead of feeling like a passive patient, I feel like I'm an athlete trying to be at my best – and he's the wise coach helping me get there. His cortisone shots are a marvel. I have had multiple cortisone shots from other doctors and they did nothing. Dr. Millard gets it right the first time, every time. He hates to see patients suffer, so he’ll do everything he can to get you into treatment at the first possible opportunity. Dr. Millard is a physician at the top of his game. I give… him the highest recommendation.

I saw Dr. Millard recently for an epidural injection for my ongoing problem with spinal stenosis. He is a very skilled and caring physician who never rushes during office appointments and is very gentle and non-threatening when he proceeds with an injection that can be painful. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Dr. Millard by my primary care physician, chiropractor and PT. All highly recommended him. I had a long history of low back pain and sciatica. My situation had become dire. I was in severe pain and had developed a foot drop. I am extremely active and athletic typically but my pain and impairment prevented me from doing the things that I love. I was desperate. I received several surgical consultations and surgery had been recommended by all. I wanted to avoid surgery if possible but previously performed epidural procedures had been ineffective. During my initial visit with Dr. Millard, I found him to be punctual, kind, caring , engaging and thorough. He talked with me in detail about my low back pain journey, reviewed my MRI. and made his treatment recommendations . He performed a spine procedure at the Peninsula Procedure Center. His staff is kind and caring as well. The procedure was seamless and easy to go through. Most importantly, it has completely… eliminated my severe pain and my weakness has resolved. In additional follow up with Dr. M, he has been exceptionally helpful in providing exercise prescription that has allowed me to return to my normal atheletic lifestyle . He is an extraordinary spine interventionalist. I CAAN NOT RECOMMEND ANY PHYSICIAN MORE HIGHLY! My only regret is that I wasn’t referred to him sooner!
