Dr. Robert J. Montero, MD

My daughter and I visited this office for a scheduled follow up appointment for ankle pain my daughter had been experiencing for sometime. We were seen by Dr. Robert Montero who unlike the first visit(which my husband accompanied us on) was very unpleasant. He came into the room extremely abrasive and aggressively saying we came back too soon without giving his recommendations a try. He began what felt like an interrogation on my 9 year old daughter who started to tear up when trying to explain her symptoms through this harsh talk. I watched as she looked at me for me to come to her rescue. When the doctor demanded her to look at him. I explained to Dr. Montero that despite the recommendations suggested by him at our previous visit a little over a month ago my daughters ankle pain was not getting any better and none of this was my daughters fault. To say the least this visit was uncomfortable and unlike any other doctors visit I experienced before. After the visit I told my daughter… she is loved, valued, and cared for and my husband and I will be finding another doctor for her that will treat her as such.

My son adored Dr Montero. He took the time to make our son comfortable and explain information to us that no other Dr had in our yrs of dealing with our sons cerebral palsy.

This doctor was awful - so rude.

Dr. Montero is a great doctor and my son loved him! If he breaks another bone...I'm definitely going to see him again.

Kind and caring. Treats each child as if they were his own.
