Don't expect any help from this psychiatrist at Richardson Met hodist Hospital in Richardson, Texas.

Sought help at Methodist Richardson got this “Dr”. Patient Rights out the window. Scary and traumatizing. Don’t let him think all are like him. Compassion and real psychiatric help is out there, just not with him.

This is one bad doctor and he will put you on addictive meds., tell you that this meds. are addictive, then leave you to go through withdrawals alone. You can't rely on this dr. R. A. Moore has taken the Hypocrites oath and not the Hippocratic Oath. This translates to doing harm to his patients. He's petty, a whiner, and gets unreasonable when he's challenged. Stay away from this person. He gives all doctors a bad name and doctors like him cause good doctors to get sued. Sue this doctor often, he needs to have his license revoked. He is not a medical doctor, he is a quack.

This man is an inconsiderate jerk. Don't waste your time.

I called Dr. Moore to seek help with my PTSD and anxiety. I am currently being treated for these two things, but moved to Texas recently. I looked for a recommended doctor through the medical group he is supposedly affiliated with (Methodist Richardson Medical Center) and unfortunately ended up with his name. When my call was returned he was short, rude, asked what my problem was, then asked how I got his information (like I just randomly picked him out of a lottery). When I explained both he asked where I was located - Addison/Carrollton area. He told me to find another doctor that his location isn't convenient to either place and hung up on me. It's funny - I can be in the area he is located at in about 15 minutes. I am glad I didn't waste actual time on this "doctor"; I can't imagine how pleasant he is face to face. Coming from Atlanta, I had to commute 30 minutes sometimes to see my doctors, but I did it with no problem, and I was loyal to my appointments. To say I am disappointed… would be an understatement - I can't believe he is allowed to be someone's psychiatrist, as sensitive as this medical field can be in nature. I have never been turned away from medical help - especially not in the manner I was with this man. It can be very hard to seek out psychiatry help when you are new to a place (for me, a different doctor, city, and state) and as someone who suffers from anxiety, the process isn't an easy one. Interactions like this one are what make anxiety patients dread taking those first steps. If this doctor didn't want to take new patients, or just simply wasn't interested in helping me, he could have at least pointed me in the right direction (which, by the way, I asked for when I left my message for a call back - "could you point me in the right direction if you aren't the right doctor") and helped me find someone better suited for my needs. I am sure I will find a physician who is a professional and cares about the well-being of those seeking help from them. I only wish I had found the negative, but so very truthful, reviews on vitals.com and google before I wasted my time phoning this man.

Best doctor ever! Finally found a doctor who actually cares about his patients. Dr. Moore always returns your calls very quickly. He has an excellent understanding of your problem and helps you understand. I, along with his peers have nothing but praise as well as good things to say about him.

I received a call back from him today after leaving two messages. He told me he was too busy for me to find someone else and hung up!

I was in town for only a few days and Dr. Moore scheduled to time to see me so that I could refill my ADHD meds. He is very accomodating!!!!

Diagnosed me wrong. Did not listen to my abuse!
