Dr. Robert James Nudera, MD

Went in with ongoing unilateral ear and jaw pain and, more recently, a swollen lymph node in my neck on the same side. CBC taken by my primary showed signs of infection, so he referred me. The physical exam hurt because Dr. Nudera's hand shook slightly but steadily, causing the otoscope to vibrate in my already sore ear. He said that he could see nothing wrong with my ear (no "clinical evidence"). He then palpated my jaw as I opened and closed my mouth and quietly said, "Good girl" as he did so. I was alone with him in the exam room and it made me really uncomfortable. Finally, he ordered an audiological exam (audiogram), which also hurt my ear. It showed mild bilateral hearing loss at high frequencies. Afterwards, Dr. Nudera said my ear is fine, but something's wrong with my jaw. He said I needed to go to a jaw-joint specialist or dentist instead. I asked if he could give me a referral, and he responded by asking if my insurance would need one. I then asked if I… could get a copy of my results from my visit that day. He returned and gave me a copy of the audiologist's report, but not his notes. I had to take a moment to cry in my car in the parking lot before I could drive home. A day off work and a 45-minute drive to feel humiliated and hurt, and still be no closer to an accurate diagnosis or effective treatment.

Don't waste your time or money! I wasted my money for nothing on 3 worthless visits here! I think they only want your money and then give you run around.
