Highly competent but even more important is his ability to listen and be strongly empathetic The only criticism is we need more physicians like him

My visit with Dr. Oberstein was excellent as usual. He is very kind, caring and goes over my thyroid medication and concerns. I have been a patient for over 25 years.

I've been a patient of Dr. Oberstein for quite a few years. He is always professional, courteous, speaks comfortably with good eye contact, doesn't leave questions unanswered and is careful about following all aspects of my care.

Upgraded pump, and test driving a CGM. Working thru redtape for ordering a CGM. Reviews with me: pump readings, and most recently the CGM test results, adjustments, etc Always answers my questions, and I come with some every time.

Dr. Oberstein is actually one of the few doctors that will actually followup with a phone call personally. I have the utmost confidence in him as a doctor.

Incredibly frustrating. I really like him as a doctor, but don't care how the office is run from a business standpoint. 4 month appointment wait time for someone that is already a patient. My prescription ran out and he wouldn't refill without seeing me, which is fine but don't take 4 months to see me. Particularly when the medication specifically says not to stop immediately and you must taper off.
