When you watch the video at the office about all the things that can go wrong with cataract surgery, pay attention. I had mine several years ago and I still wake up every day wishing I could undo the surgery.

I would be blind in one eye, maybe even both, if not for Dr Pilkinton. I don’t need to say any more.

I appreciate the time and attention Doctor Pilkington devotes to each patient. He is very informative and makes you feel comfortable with any procedure that has to be performed performed.

I had surgery for myopia along with severe astigmatism in 1994 when the technology first came to Tennessee. Dr. Pilkington was actually fun to work with. He was professional, sensitive to my fear and did a flawless job. To this day my vision is still great. I have to say I am now 61 years old and still do not need reading glasses, bonus in my book. Thank you to Dr. Pilkington and his staff I have my vision and a full life with my vision.

I went to Dr pilkington at the recommendation of my regular optometrist whose name I will not mention because they have been fantastic. Is the normal story goes you get 1 eye done first then you go back get the second eye done. My first eye went very well the left one no problems everything went fine went back to get my right eye done same routine everything seemed to be okay. A few months after my surgery I've called him back because I'm having a lot of trouble with my right eye the second surgery it's never been clear like the first one it's always watering and always feels like there's an eyelash in it. I honestly could see better out of my right eye before I had the surgery than I can now. About we'll say a month ago I called the office to get told that Dr Pilkington was going to be out for about 2 months and I would not be able to see him and it was suggested that I go back to my regular eye doctor who recommended me to Dr Phil Kingston to start with to try to get some help which… I did. They never once offered for me to see another surgeon that they are connected with. I learned that there's something wrong with the implant he put in my eye it needs buffing whatever that means but it definitely needs some care taken of it. Since then I've called back not once not twice maybe not even three at least three but maybe four times and I've left the messages I've even asked should I go see another surgeon Dr Wang or doctor Loden. who did my mother and father's eyes a long time ago. I said what should I do this is in a message since the very first call when I was recommended to go back to my standard eye doctor. Yhey have not even had the decency to call me back email me give me any suggestions as what to do. Can you imagine spending every day and night that you're awake with water streaming out of your eye and being unable to see after going through everything that there is to deal with during eye surgery and then go to your doctor that you pretty much put your life and your eyesight in his hands to not even have the courtesy to call you back and offer any kind of resolution. I don't like leaving negative reviews as a matter of fact this is the first and only one I have ever left as a review that was negative so I thought that maybe I could get some attention and help for my eyes if I went about it this way since I have tried everything else there is to try I don't know what to do other than to go to another surgeon and I doubt very seriously if my insurance will pay for it. Since this man should take care of it because he's already been paid to do so but now I'm just a nobody to them who can't even get a phone call or an email. Anyone who has any suggestion please, please get back to me!

Ideally had a terrible experience with Dr. Pilkington. He was uncaring about my personal diagnosis and explained cataracts generically and then gave me a video to watch.

Dr Dale did cateract surgery on both of my eyes and was very patient with me in trying contacts to determine best settings for my lenses. I chose to have one set for reading and one set for distance because I had a muscle problem that resulted in permanent double vision. After 40 years of double vision. And not being able to function without glasses....HE FIXED IT! Surgery was a huge success. Now I have clear single vision and did not need glasses at all. 4 yrs later I had cloudy vision in one eye and he treated it in the offfice! I do wear glasses now for reading. I am 61 my family tends to have cateracts younger than most. Wonderful and patient staff!

Dr Pilkinton did my cataract surgery a little over a year ago and I have had great success wit both eyes. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
