I would like to acknowledge that I have been a Patient of Dr.Portadin, for over 47yrs. He has such a nice personality, always make you feel relax and comfortable when you coming to his office for your exam, he is very concern about his patience well being, Thank you Dr. Portadin for all you do, you are appreciated, a doctor you can always depend on. Again Thank you for all my years!

He delivered my mother’s identical twins and helped save my mom’s life and stayed by her side until she decided to accept a blood transfusion due to heavy loss of blood and at first refused to do so. He also delivered my 2nd child via c-section. I highly recommend him cause he cares for all his patients!

Dr. Portadin only listens to himself talk. He'll cut you off mid sentence and not give you a chance to speak. He is condescending and rude. He missed diagnosed a yeast infection that left me suffering for months. He send all tests out to labs and does noting in the office. Everything takes longer and costs a lot more money!! He is a money grabber looking only at his retirement. His gives cookie cutter care and is not interested in his job anymore. Bye bye Dr. Portadin. You're useless to us women. Shame on you. I hope everything comes back to you. God help the women you treat.

If i could give this man 0 stars i would. I’m 17 and he made me feel disgusted. He proceeded to tell me i didn’t have a cyst when i got an ultra sound that proved i had a 5cm cyst on my left ovary. He told me he was going to put me on birth control when me and my mom both told him no, and told me i had to wait a month to get another ultra sound. He was very rough while doing the exam and shouldn’t be working with women.

Don't ruin a beautiful experience by using this doctor to deliver your baby. Terrible bedside manner.

Ignores the wishes of his patients. Speaks down to patients, is rough in handling you and doesn't explain or validate the patient's concerns. Leaves you feeling helpless in your medical treatment.

Very rude when it comes to what he thinks is the cause of something. He made me come in three times because he said my blood pressure was too high... When I had enough I went to two other doctors and they said my blood pressure was normal. Does not listen to you either. I went for a year and then now in the process of finding someone else.

Dr. Portadin misread my mammogram report results to me on the phone, totally omitting one of the pages that indicated I needed to have a follow-up mammogram in 6 months time. Instead, he told me everything was fine and to get a follow-up mammogram in one year which was incorrect information. This was totally careless of him.

D. Portadin was/is very thorough in his yearly exam. He speaks in laymans terms and willingly answers all questions. Once, I had a semi-emergency and he made arragements to see me asap and give his suggestions and advice. His office staff is 2nd to none. Eva & Cathy have been wonderful throughout my whole experience with Dr. Portadin.
